First time I ever drew a ferry gijnka comic. I think this was in April or May 2025. MV Suq looks pretty different from his current design and you can see how the other three Olympics look different now too. Spokane doesn't have her finalized design although it was pretty close to how she is now.

And looks like Suq and Rebi are quite tired from being my assistants for both SZF and BZF. They'll get their rest soon and as a reward, I'm taking these dolls to Resin Rose this year.

I feel that I didn't put as much into Wenatchee's design when looking at these two but it was Tacoma that I originally just filled in although I do say she looks better after some re-doing. She's meant to be really tall but the MkIIs have low ceilings so I can't just make her 7' and had to cap her at 6'9". The Super class have very tall ceilings and we should have more of that. Puyallup in the zine wasn't as cute as I would like but he's really hard to draw for me. He is very cute but it's a bit hard to describe. Personality of a megasuki in the body of a 6'8" buff machine and will feed you dishes made from daffodil bulbs because he's a jerk.

Summer 2025 where Wally was placed on Bainbridge-Seattle run because Wenatchee was still in the yard and Puyallup needed to go back to Kingston. I don't think MV Tacoma gets along great with the other ferries despite her being a flagship ferry at one point. I don't know why. I don't think the other Jumbos or MKIIs like her that much. Something about Tacoma just feels kind of...unlikable. She's a ferry who keeps her head down and does her job but that's why it feels like she sucks?

It was kind of ridiculous to see a MkII on Bremerton a month ago but they can't put a Jumbo on at the moment due to reasons so there Puyallup was. Kaleetan came back a month later.

Some time in 2025 where Wally and Chimacum were on the same run together. There's a community garden in Bremerton so that's where this idea came from. They grow a lot of cosmos flowers hence the comment. The Bremerton route went through a hell of a ferry rotation that year. The five boats in that little thought bubble are: MV Kitsap, MV Issaquah, MV Sealth, MV Kaleetan, and MV Suquamish. If you include Chim and Wal, that's four different vessel classes and Sealth kind of counts as his own thing since he's an unconverted Issaquah (no upper car ramp). It was also a strange decision since that kind of ferry is better for islands due to being able to carry more freight trucks and taller vehicles so I think it would have been better to move Cathlamet or Kittitas over and swap Sealth out with one of them but I don't know what the logistics are so it's just me rambling.

I got these in Port Townsend and I strongly believe that the town should be visited when it's rainy and gloomy. I even saw lightning and heard thunder today which are uncommon events here. But it fits.
