Here are the feet with the tape pattern on them. I had to wear them while I patterned bcuz they kinda…. deflate(?) if I’m not wearing them lol

Here’s The Skin…..

I added the final tiny claws and some thin eva foam supports in the large middle toes because they kept wiggling around

I think they might be done? (Base-wise, they still need fur) idk, I’m gonna wrap them in some fabric to see how the shapes will turn out and go from there

Here is one next to the other bigger claws on the foot

Kangaroos have one large claw on their middle toe, and the rest of their toes have smaller claws, so I wanted to mimic that. Also I didn’t like how much extra length those other claws gave to the end of the foot, it looked too bird like and they wiggled a lot when I walked

I’ve got the dew claw on, and I put some eva squares on the ends of the toes to the claws have a nice flat space to sit when I glue them in

I would have finished these tonight, but I need to print smaller claws and my printer is already working on printing the head, so these are on pause until that’s done, should be done by tomorrow.

It’s all held together with hot glue (not great for feet) but if they are comfy and the shapes turn out good then I’ll re glue them in E6000 if anything falls apart :3

They are not completely accurate to kangaroo feet but thas ok 👍 it is also a gator. And fictional <3

I’m making my gatoroo, the head (regular realistic red kangaroo, will probably modify with eva clay) is printing right now, I’m working on the feet, it’s a simple sock with eva and upholstery foam glued to it to give it a sole and foot shape

It…. Looks better when I wear it…..

But here’s the other one with more progress

^this will have an additional third layer with the individual toe and heel pads. Will that be comfortable to walk in? Idk!!! :D

Anyway, I’ve got a simple method to make eye blanks that are too small fit into a fursuit head with larger eye sockets (I ordered some too small eye blanks recently and had to make it work)

I thought I could unscrew the toy to open it and clean it out and be done but noooo they glued every inch of this thing. Ok

So I couldn’t get my camera in there for pics, but I got some external pictures of the dirt

Spiders weren’t the only bug in him!!! I also found some ants, one tiny millipede, FUCKING EMPTY EGG SACS FROM WHO THE HELL KNOWS WHAT, shed molts, miscellaneous bug legs, and a few other nearly unidentifiable clumps. Eugh. His sound box was full of webs, water damage, dirt clumps and whatever else, so I just took that out entirely, along with his battery compartment and any wires I could pull out. All just so nasty

My flex pla also came in a while ago so I gotta get some tongue models to use to print them! (Or maybe some ears? Noses? Pawpads?)
