One of the rare times that #type1 had perfect timing. A breakfast #hypo = sugar on my cereal for the first time in FOREVER and I got to sit on the back deck in the winter sun with the fur babies while I ate it. 👍 #diabeticalertdog

I rescued a fat, happy Labrador from @rspcansw on Christmas Eve 6 years ago. He's been my best mate & an absolutely fantastic #hypo alert dog without any training. Now, after a long run of 'not being himself' we've discovered that he has cancer & the time will soon come for us to say goodbye. In the meantime, he sits right here beside me as I work & follows on my heel if I get up to go anywhere. He's not well in himself but he still looks out for me 😌 #diabeticalertdog #type1diabetes #labrador #ilovemydog

Weekend adventures ☺ short films and strange single serve wines, coffee dates, long walks with the fur babies, twilight picnics at the base of muttonbird, hot chip lunch at the peak of muttonbird, a pet expo, kayaking, fishing, a visit & donation to the RSPCA, a great group of kids hanging with my boys and playing their instruments together when I woke up this morning... tempting as it is to go home to Sydney, I don't think I couldn't have found a better place to raise3 boys ❤️
