I LOVE a Harvest Moon!!!! My first one was Tree of Tranquility for the Wii and I love my stupid idiot husband Luke so fucking much. I love a dumbass with a heart of gold.

I've poured waaaaay too much time into various Harvest Moons, and more recently Stardew Valley, so I'd like to say farm sims, but those are kind of the only ones I've played, so I dunno if it counts?

Besides that, most of my favorite games are JRPGs! The Legend of Dragoon, Grandia 2, MOTHER 3... I enjoy a Final Fantasy (FF6 being my favorite), I enjoy a Persona, and Earthbound is certainly up there, too. Pokemon, if that counts?

I also like visual novels a lot, kinetic or otherwise! They're not very demanding so I can play/watch them even when I'm having a bad health day, and I sometimes struggle with latching onto reading actual books, and having. well. visuals. to the novel. Kinda helps with that. I like Danganronpa, I like 999, I like Saya no Uta, I like Death Mark...

Right there with you my friend. My sleep schedule has slowly but surely fallen into disarray, like for a while I was waking up at 6am and that's early but at least it's reasonable. It's slowly slipped back into me waking up at 3am, and it's starting to creep closer to 1am, and this is not sustainable at all and I'm slowly dying LMAOO.

Heh, I had a much dumber story. I was playing fucking Farm Frenzy (what a shame) and my mom also went to the store or something like that. And when she came back, I was in tears because all my geese had died. Now it's very funny to me, but back then wasn't at all.

I'm going to admit something extremely embarrassing to you. Okay. I'm sleep deprived and it's 2:30am, I am putting myself on blast and I do not care.

In the third grade, I believe, I got Pokemon Channel for the gamecube as a gift for getting good grades. After I did my homework for the day I'd play it for fucking hours. Autistic child gets obsessed with the stupid Pokemon game where you do literally nothing. I've always been a slave to the pocket monsters. I needed to collect all the plushies and cards alright.

One day I walked out of my room in absolute tears. Like full on sobbing. My mom was, of course, Very alarmed by this, and was like "omg bailey are you okay??? what's wrong???"

And I look at her, and with complete sincerity, I say through tears, "I just love my Pikachu so much :(".

I genuinely lost my FUCKING MIND at new Rhythm Heaven, I love those games SO MUCH and I am ABSOLUTELY looking forward to that. I thiiiiink it's coming out on both Switch and Switch 2? And if that's the case then I'm still not buying a Switch 2 LMAO.

I suppose I'm also looking forward to Pokemon Winds and Waves. That's unfortunately probably gonna be what makes me get a Switch 2, I'm forever a slave to pocket monsters. But I am telling you so fucking genuinely that they'd BETTER keep that release date in 2027. I do NOT want to see that game this year. LET IT COOK. TAKE YOUR TIME. I will seriously be so actually upset if they release it in 2026, like as much as I enjoyed Scarlet and Violet those games were NOT DONE.

I used to watch my dad play PC games when I was a kid! I probably shouldn't have because it was shit like Diablo 2 and I think it scared me! I have one distinct memory where he left to go get food or something and said I could wander around town if I wanted to, so I did, but I ended up in the desert outskirts because I had no idea what I was doing and I went and got him killed and lost all his armor and items and shit.

I think I cried because I felt bad. He thought it was funny at least.

My parents owned (own?? I don't know where it is) an Atari 2600, I believe it was, and when I was like... I dunno, SUPER young, like maybe three, they had me play some of the games they had. I only remember pong and I have vague memories of like... Some sort of adventure game. Couldn't possibly tell you what it was. Aside from PC edutainment games, it was my first real experience with a video game.
