Preface: I’ve been a fan of mcr for like a year, and they’ve changed my life in so many ways. I know the same is true for a lot of their other fans. We all agree there’s something special about My Chem, right? but what exactly is it that we all connect to? What makes My Chemical Romance different, and what makes them so special? I attempted to answer that question using some words from the english language. I hope you enjoy :)

I’m glad you brought this up cause I’ve been DYING to talk about it for a fucking hot minute.

First and foremost, The ENTIRE Danger Days ERA hair was a culture reset for the emos.

Example #1: The long bright red hair was  AsTrOnOmIcAl

he looked so PRETTY like yes emo king, give us EVERYTHING !!!

Example #2: The red/orange ombré tips combo was a LOOK honey.

PLUS; he had the audacity to get an undercut and trim it just slightly shorter -IM

Example #3: The Red Pixie cut practically become its OWN personality

like look at ALL that SASS just coming through from that one hair flip -IM

The POWER that the pixie haircut held was UNMATCHED !!!
