Silksong's been out for 4 months and It's been like 2 since I completed it. I wanted to ask: what about you all? And do you think I should still tag spoilers?
How much of Silksong have you experienced? Should I keep tagging spoilers?
I haven't reached any ending. Please tag spoilers for late act 2 and beyond
No endings yet, you don't need to tag
Got an ending, still in Act 2, yes tag

As of right now my idea is to tag important plot elements in late act 2 (Content posterior to getting the 3 "parts" to move the main plot of that act), and everything beyond that. I may not tag characters with spoilers unless the context of the piece is a spoiler (like Karmelita on her own isn't a spoiler but her role on the story is)

Happy pride month folks! Here’s another reminder that the Happy Couple Coalition has a Tiltify fundraiser running the whole month of June! As of posting this, 2500 US dollars out of 15000 have been raised, and there are many more fundraiser streams and events on the horizon. If you have 5 US dollars to spare, why not donate to a good cause? Donors will receive raffle tickets to prizes of their choice, one of which is this giant Knight plushie I made! Hope to see you in the streams!
hornet thinks that by refusing ascension and living with mortal bugs she is refusing the divinity her father represented but she doesn't realize that he too shed his larger form to be closer to the ground
Dodeshna, friends! Day 31 of Hollow Knight Art Month is Flea Day, and Hornet is having a little picnic with her flea friends.
And that’s a wrap on Hollow Knight Art Month for 2026! To those who followed me for Hollow Knight art, sorry it’s going to be pretty intermittent until next May, and for those who know nothing about Hollow Knight, normal service will now resume. Thank you all for your support, and much love to everyone else who made art for this month!

id: four panel hollow knight comic featuring uumuu and quirrel. it is set before the events of the game; uumuu is unifected, and quirrel does not yet have monomon's mask.
uumuu: why do you let her sacrifice herself? if you are her apprentice, stop her.
quirrel: it was her decision. i have no right to judge her.
uumuu: then you have never loved her as much as i do.
quirrel: that is not true. but this is no longer about us. end id
id: two pieces of hollow knight fanart. both pieces mirror each other in composition. the first shows the pure vessel as a hatchling, standing at the bottom of the abyss, looking up past the platforms that lead to the exit. in the door at the top, stands the pale king, looking down. he is the only source of light.
the second shows the pure vessel, fully grown, standing within its own dream arena. the arena is dark and does not yet show the orange light and clouds that are present during the game. the vessel is brandishing its nail, and looking up at the radiance, floating above it. she is the only source of light. end id
I knew I wanted to make Big Knight. Wanted it to be around 10 inches tall. Honestly designing it wasn't even too bad, it was the actual crocheting that was. An experience. 20 rows of just single crochet, each row being about 90+ stitches long, in worsted weight yarn is a unique type of pain and torture. Would I do it again? At some point, probably. They're unfairly nice to cuddle with and they're so big that it's really fun to heft them around. They are officially the biggest plushie I've ever made and I'm honestly kind of obsessed with them. Little guy (gender neutral) come to life! But big.
Anyway if you've been following the stuff I've been doing recently, you're probably wondering about a pattern release for them. Right now I have no plans to release the pattern for this jumbo Knight plushie, but I am here to share that I will be participating in the 6th annual pride fundraiser run by the Happy Couple Coalition.
This year, donations will be going towards the Trans Empowerment Project. There will be many streams in June, all to raise awareness of and funnel donations towards this cause. It's more important than ever for people to band together and support each other, and I'm doing my small part in this by offering this jumbo Knight plushie as one of the donation incentive prizes. If you would like a chance to win it, start by donating money to the Trans Empowerment Project through this Tiltify fundraising link. Donations matching a specific value will grant raffle tickets, which you can put towards a prize of your choosing. Once the event ends, prize winners will be picked, and you can get multiple raffle tickets for the same prize by donating more.
If you can't donate, show up! Join the streams, spread the word about the fundraiser, and talk to people about why this matters. Every little bit of effort counts. Hope to see you there in June!

Next to this text are examples of the prizes. The first is a crocheted grub plushie, made by mayamigurumii. The grub is holding a white rose. The second prize is a digital artwork by dragon_nyx. It is a blonde, fair skinned elven archer crouching with their hands on their bow, held horizontally. They are wearing a vest over a loose, puffy garment, as well as laced up boots and an arm guard on their left forearm. The third prize is another digital artwork, by ChromeDollar. It is of a tan skinned, auburn haired individual surrounded by red petals. They are striking a confident pose, their hands in the 'I Love You' gesture, and they are smiling at the camera. Soft pink circular vignettes are behind them.

It's interesting to me how Hornet clearly vibes with Shakra a lot & comes to trust her in a way that seems really relevant for someone like her who's always very vigilant & avoids showing weakness - Shakra's like like "You can stay here & I'll watch your back" & you can actually use her camp as a bench while she's there*. She even talks about personal stuff unprompted like that bit where she discusses Vespa (in which Shakra even gets to say some comforting words to her)
But on the other hand, one notable point where Hornet doesn't disclose something is when the subject of the Weavers comes up. (even though Shakra's all like, "I wish I got to duel one of those!" - unbeknownst to her, she can actually get her wish, sort of.) - at that point she was probably still reeling from the realization that they're not remembered in the most flattering light/ that they had some major dirt. She's finally found another one after getting her hopes up... and it's a crazy old lady who wants to present her remains to the main villain as a trophy.
That's sort of interesting / a noticeable omission / dynamic that would be interesting to explore.
(it's also implied her partners were largely travelers from the surface (seeing as she outlived them, whereas some ppl from the fall were still around in Hallownest proper & the surrounding/allied polities) - perhaps there was a similar dynamic at play there where she sought out ppl who wouldn't know/ be in awe of her parents & would just see her as herself.)
On the one hand they do partially have pretty similar backgrounds - both are warriors from small tribal communities that value toughness & vigilance & are distrustful of fancy schmancy tech (granted, distrusting the Citadel is a good idea), though both are open-minded enough more likely to help/protect someone who's less badass than to look down on them, they have some craft skills, they were both taken in by a badass lady who gave them their signature weapon after their birth mom ended up out of the picture, & they both come to central Pharloom as travelers, more or less experiencing it in tandem together from what's partially a similar perspective. It seems pretty natural that they'd become besties.
Except that there's also all that other stuff that sort of sets Hornet apart.
One wonders if she just wanted for her new friend to continue seeing her as 'fellow traveller/ crafty tribal warrior' for a little longer, and not as Extinct Mythical Beast / Scary Monster from the fairytales, especially once it dawned on her that she'd be considered acary Mythical Beast on both sides by the standards of Pharloom. (Snail Guy certainly has this view early on)
I wonder if she'd liberally talk about Deepnest and the Hive, but gloss over/ omit anything to do with the Weavers or Hallownest.
That's also why it's a bit immersion breaking to me in FFs when the backstory gets casually disclosed without some buildup or it being a big moment, cause I think it would be & maybe go along with some wory as to whether she's still going to be seen the same way.
Also, just to be clear, I'd see all this as completely orthogonal as to whether you wanna keep it as a friendship thing or give it a shippy spin.
*Come to think of, there's another thing like this in the OG game where the Knight can clearly tell that Mato actually means the invitation to stay a bit, while Oro doesn't; It might also suggest they actually feel comfortable around him / appreciate his pep talks.

If I make Bell Beast, obviously I also have to make a beastling. A beastling pattern is now available in my Etsy store! This little fella was, strangely, kind of hard to design due to the limited number of sprites available for them, and the ones that are available are usually partially obscured by foreground objects. Still, it was fun to make, and it's about palm sized! El wiwi...
The moment that many of you have been waiting for! My Bell Beast crochet pattern is finally done, and is now available on my Etsy store! This pattern is a labor of love and has taken many, many hours to perfect, but all to achieve Bell Beast's signature look and form. This is an advanced pattern, and I would not recommend beginner crocheters start with this pattern (but if so, check out the other patterns in my shop!), but for veteran crocheters, she's all yours! In fact, in celebration of the pattern release, the pattern is 20% off today until June 4th! Either way, I'm very excited to finally be able to show her off, and I hope you're happy to see her too :)
