Many people have had what might be called a "Oneness" experience. Some call it "a feeling of awe" or "harmony with nature". It is a deeply felt, often a once in a lifetime event. It is best described as a sudden and unexpected feeling of "something", and the experience is often hard to describe, but feelings of harmony and a deep sense of satisfaction usually accompany it. Some call it the moment when they experienced God, others call it the time when they felt truly at one with nature and creation. Some call it an "oceanic" feeling, others name it "a sense of bliss". There are many labels for this experience, but mostly it is a rare and very special event, that the person remembers for the rest of his or her life - no matter if they are religious or not. This survey is aimed at collecting some facts and descriptions about this kind of experience. As a Oneness experience can be challenging to describe so this survey offers both a story telling option and straight multiple choice questions. The questions should not take more than about 5 minutes, but the story part can take as long as you like. The survey is completely anonymous and no traceable information is collected about you. You will first be presented with a few screens of questions, followed by the option to write an account of the event in your own words (not mandatory). The questions in the beginning will perhaps help you better remember and formulate the Oneness experience you had. Last come a couple questions about age, gender and country.
