This little girl impressed me. We were slated to create a 3 seam pillow out of #fatquarters during the #kidsintrotosewing class at #joann. She was working with a one speed kid-sized Janome sewing machine. After we discussed threading and stitch types/settings. She wanted to make the adult home decor pillow... So we did! #ganas #littlecraftinator pushed through all the ironing, stitching and use of a zipper foot on my machine to add cording. She ended with a smile, a sense of accomplishment and a very schnazzy #handmade pillow! Day 3 of #inktober is "poison." My inspiration #marginalia was a scroll focal point, but could have also been used as a #versal. "Dancing with death." I'll also paint it, and share that on my @madalenadeorozco_sca IG. It just takes a while... the gold paint is drying. :) (at Amarillo, Texas)

Today's #inktober entry is poison. I've been searching for a couple days and haven't found any specific #marginalia, #versals or #beastiaries that have someone poisoning another... plenty of poo flinging, which will definitely be a subject, but I DID find these... from a 1430s #bookofhours about the #dancewithdeath. So I'm going for it. Not sure which one yet, it's a toss up between the pink #houpleland frock guy, the blue #knight and the #blacksmith.
