(Rwby volume 1-2 watchthrough) this show is so fucking funny and bad and good at the same time. Genuine marvel at the combo of diamond and dookie.

Ok I was gonna type up something slightly longer but all I’m gonna say is the finale was alright but god I wish the show was upfront about it being the Jax Show from the jump so I wouldn’t feel upset on behalf of the other characters… why would you frame it as everyone potentially getting spotlight and then have the rest of it be focused on a single character…. I DO LIKE JAX AND HIS REVEAL DONT GET ME WRONG. But I feel I would’ve been impacted so much more if it was a flashback episode back in 7 that culminated into an on-screen abstraction.

Also I don’t think 9 episodes was enough 😭 Ik goose said that’s what she was striving for but god I feel the pacing suffered at the end cause of it. Wdym kinger just casually drops they’re fake at the very last episode in the first 3 minutes. Wdym we don’t even get to see that purple rabbit do the ultimate act of losing himself. His abstraction transformation was one of the things I was GENUINELY excited for, but it was cut away from for the sake of?? Subversion I guess?? just “oh ok we don’t even get that”. Moments I KNOW i was supposed to feel something, hell make me cry just left me feeling hollow. I would’ve preferred the madoka runtime of 12….
