i'm not going to fault kikyo for why she believes the things she does since she was raised to believe yokai are the natural enemy yadda yadda. but yes, i don't want him with someone who denies half of who he is lol. and sooo many people's gripes with these characters, especially kagome, seem to stem from actions only a fifteen year old in love would make. like obviously it feels exaggerated or immature, it's because kagome's both of those things, she's fucking fifteen. and mind you she's handling the situation with way more maturity than you'd get from your average fifteen year old.

what is it about rumiko takahashi's manga where as soon as there's more than one love interest people are suddenly unable to comprehend any of it. i'm not hand-holding you through this when there are fifty thousand analyses on kagome and inuyasha's relationship on tumblr (since apparently the manga isn't clear enough). and also, by "not kagome" you're suggesting there's alternatives. who would they be. resident gaslighter kikyo?
