she smiled down at the wolves, finding a small part         of empathy for the boy. okay, maybe more than         a small amount. she knew what it was like to be         lost, and she sort of... saw herself in the disheveled         boy somehow. 

        ‘ of course i can. is there a certain place that         you stay at in ba-atuk that i can take you to, or...         a number to call to at least let someone know you’re safe? ‘

Whenever Ren doesn’t have class, he would go out to play with the wolves. He promised Misaki to not venture out so far, but during his time playing with the animals, he might have gotten too far.

He looked around with the wolves standing close to him. He was in the city that’s for sure, but he can’t recognize where in the city. He kept walking with the wolves close by to protect him, until he saw a place filled with houses. He looked at the wolves as if he was communicating with them then walked around the neighborhood.

He and the wolves were looking for someone to at least direct him back to the west side. One of the wolves spotted a young brown haired person and alerted the rest of them. Ren looked and approached the person. He reached over, grabbing her dress and tugging it.

haruhi didn’t really do a lot of things that could be considered not normal, besides interact with those in the host club. she knew a lot of them didn’t even think of themselves as eccentric, despite them all agreeing on tamaki-senpai being as such. but only tamaki-senpai? they were all rather... weird, in their own respective ways, and it made her want to point it out to them. but she didn’t.

but what she did do could be considered normal by any ‘commoner’ point of view, really. she didn’t know if the host club would find it weird, but she found she didn’t care as she watered her plants happily. that was, until someone tugged on her dress and she turned around, spotting a boy and a bunch of wolves. what was this!? princess mononoke?! she tried to recuperate herself.

she studied him. his clothes were all dirty, and it looked like he hadn’t showered in weeks, really. the wolves all looked at her like if she did anything to this boy that they found unnecessary, she would be torn apart. she silently heeded the warning, smiling at him happily.
