“What happened to this blog?”
You guys might have asked yourselves this question a couple times over the last few weeks.
First off, let me apologize for my absence for this blog’s inactivity. Between wrapping up the spring quarter, meeting with advisors about changing my major and holding down a job, I haven’t had a whole lot of down time to run any other blogs but my main one. However, since I’m taking the summer off from school, that should open up a little more time for me(provided my supervisor stops scheduling me outside my availability which she’s NOT supposed to do but that’s neither here nor there).
Just to make sure you know I haven’t gone away completely. I’ve just had a bunch more obligations on my back I had to take care of. I can’t promise exactly when I’m going to be back since next week I’m going in to get my wisdom teeth extracted next week and the dentist says the painkillers might render me a bit... uh... unsteady. But I should be able to make a full comeback afterwards!
Wintersun FB: WINTERSUN 2nd GUITARIST REVEALED
Wintersun's second guitarist is 27-year old Asim Searah. We welcome Asim to the band!
Asim was born in Pakistan and moved to Finland at the age of 18 to pursue a career in music and has been playing in several bands and projects since then.We've known him for a long time and we knew he is a great singer, but we didn't realise how talented and skillful guitar player he is. Asim was actually the first who sent us an audition video, which surprised us very positively. After the video auditions and two rounds of live auditions we realised he was exactly what we were looking for. He is very motivated and passionate with a good heavy metal attitude - a great guitar player and vocalist to improve the live sound of Wintersun even further!
Asim comments:"It's an honour to be a part of a band that I have looked up to for many years. It's definitely a dream come true and I'm super excited to share the stage with Wintersun!"
