Fetty Wap - Trap Queen Violin Freestyle
Black Violinist absolutely SLAYS the track
Hi there, I recently auditioned for a place in an orchestra of a music camp that's coming up. They offered me the place of the section leader of the second violins. I am really happy about this but they have also offered me to go into the more advanced orchestra. The more advanced one is playing some difficult repertoire and will have older people. I would probably be in the section. I am really busy practicing the pieces I already have. I don't know which one I should pick. Any advice?
Depends on if you can handle the difficulty of the more advanced orchestra. Though, if they offered you the opportunity to join then you probably can. I say go for the advanced orchestra, being challenged and growing better as a musician sounds better than being section leader in the other orchestra to me. Plus, who knows, you may end up being a section leader in the more advanced orchestra some day. :)
All put together. 8th instrument I’ve made. First one in Kansas City.

played with the rain, and keep wondering why I sound so lousy … now I figured, coz I was constantly distracted by the sound of falling rain; things happen … you know …:) #OldTownSchool #LincolnPark #Chicago #909Armitage #Violin #HappyWeekend #Summer2015 #Rainy #Afternoon (at Old Town School of Folk Music)
The question is, can I still play? The answer is probably no.

over two years ago, I rescued a broken violin from a garage sale and began learning how to play the wonderful instrument. After over a year of lessons I have come far and today, I Invested in a new instrument! A violin of far superior quality that will help me accelorate my learning. But what to name her…

I opened up my great-grandpa’s beat-up violin case to inspect this violin. I don’t know the story behind it, but I was curious about the pegs and the inlayed tail peice. Yes, there is a chin rest, but it had been removed and placed in a side container. The label inside is one of Stradivarious ones, but I dont believe that this was made in “1777”. How old might this violin be, and what could the original value been?
