No problem, you're welcome! But you think too short - or misunderstood what I meant! Samurai art (Jiu-Jitsu) IS self-defense - In a broader sense of course (defending their country, emperor, etc. - not any drunken brawl situation, etc. Time and field of application changed but the core is the same (there are even still some similarities if you think about Armed Forces for example), (of course I don't count any competition stuff to this!).
