Hi! MSA refers to Me Sleep Again, which is a bug that occurs in original Furbies. Furbies with MSA will say “Me Sleep Again” (or “Kay Way-Loh Koh-Koh” if they still speak mostly Furbish) and fall asleep immediately after being booted up. This bug appears to be associated with the Deep Sleep mode that was added to Furbies from generation 2 onward. Furbies without Deep Sleep mode (original generation 1 Furbies, not including rereleases of gen 1 colors) should be “immune” to MSA. However, I believe all Furbies produced after generation 1 either currently have/will develop MSA to some degree (personally, I have yet to come across a post-gen 1 Furby that has never woken up with the MSA bug). Furby Babies, luckily, do not seem to develop MSA. There is no permanent fix to MSA as it seems to be at least partially coding-related, but you can wake up Furbies with MSA by shaking them upside down with their tongue sensor pressed (you will just have to repeat this when the issue occurs again).
