This time i traveled for moooore than 3 hours hehehe, but it didn’t matter because kids at Kantaya were lovely ...great public!! Funny fact: the one kid who was interrupting screaming out load, at the end, approached and lift his arms, like asking me to lift him. I did and then he leaned forward to give me a kiss. I gave him a hug back, with all the warmth i could possibly feel then :)

The weekend before a TED conference, each speaker rehearses their talk in the TED theater. It’s a chance for the speakers to get to know the space, for our curators to give last-minute suggestions ...

After traveling for 3 hours... (the whole time without leaving the city!) I finally arrived at this school where the kids were waiting for something new to happen. This was one of the Fe y Alegría schools, not elegant and fancy but with a huge heart and lots of hope.

At the end of the session, there was a little girl who approached me and gave a notebook, as little as she was. “This is for you to draw your stories”, she told me... and then my heart melted, as if it wasn’t already, lost in the middle of the hundred hugs i received that day :)
