Based on my headcanon that Blue Knight is the son of the Frost King. Blue is afraid of having his true identity revealed to the other knights due to past circumstances between the knights' kingdom & the Snow kingdom.
I love headcanons where Blue Knight is Frost King's son SMMN. Here's my take on it where they're SOMEWHAT healthy, even if Frost King's still a jerk -[🐟]

Yes!! @exothermicex and I were inspired to come up with our own HCs after seeing really cool HCs from other people!
The first HC is based around the Blacksmith's past. Also really like the idea that the Necromancer used to be the Black Knight before he went rogue!
He was best friends with the Blacksmith aka Purple Knight and they were both huge weapon nerds
They were also part of a group of 4 high knights that pre-date the main 4 knights we see now:
Exo is gonna design the final knight but currently, their appearance is unknown.
The King used to be constantly fighting with the other kingdoms to expand their territories and it was a terrible war that lasted for years.
Unfortunately the war was slowly weakening the kingdom and the Black Knight, who was secretly studying illegal necromancy magic, decided to reveal the fruits of his research in hopes that it would make the kingdom stronger.
Purple Knight tried convincing him to abandon his research but they ultimately had a falling out when Black Knight wanted to turn him into an undead warrior to make him 'more powerful'.
They also fought each other when Black Knight turned one of their friends into an undead warrior and that's how Purple Knight got the slash on his helmet. The King exiled Black Knight as punishment.

For Orange Knight, he was a resident of Volcano Town who was inspired to become a knight after seeing them defend a village once when he was younger. He is the first (and last) member of his town to become a knight.
He normally has a very cheerful personality but is prone to crashing out if he sees his friends hurt!
Some say his happy-go-lucky attitude may be a facade to hide his sadness after his town was destroyed but no one knows for sure. (It's a mix of both)
His hobby is gardening

Finally there's Blue Knight! This HC is mostly thought of by Exo! Blue Knight (aka Frost Prince) is the son of the Frost King, who created him to battle against the Castle Crashers knights when they were warring against each other.
The Frost Prince was inspired by Purple Knight's bravery and compassion and decided to leave his kingdom to find him. The Frost King was a POS anyway.
Disguised as an iceskimo, he fled to the desert but was saved by the Purple Knight who was travelling the lands in solitude after the incident with Black Knight.
Purple Knight decided to bring him to the CC Kingdom and train him to be a knight in order to keep him safe from the Frost King.
He also trained 3 other promising Gray Knights and they ultimately became the 4 high knights: Green, Red, Blue and Orange! Purple Knight retired and became the Blacksmith after that.
Blue Knight also meets the Frost King again during the game's storyline and they absolutely hate each other
That's all so far! The HCs will be expanded on when I have more ideas!
