spock was born on vulcan, in the city of shi’kahr, to ambassador sarek and amanda grayson. despite his father’s wishes, spock decided to join starfleet instead of the vulcan science academy, eventually being stationed aboard the enterprise under captain christopher pike. after the destruction of his home planet, and the exchange of captaincy of the enterprise to james kirk, spock became first officer of the starship. his dedication to logic makes him an invaluable officer to turn to for advice and guidance, however because of his vulcan way of life, he can be very insensitive and impersonal, which can rub a largely human crew the wrong way.

Andy is a kind and determined kid from Boston, Massachusetts. She always really liked the idea of space and her entire family growing up consisted of mechanical engineers, so she decided that she wanted to be one as well. Her real passion though, is music. Despite not being extremely passionate about engineering, she decided that it might be fun and pretty much joined the academy on a dare in high school. She ended up really liking it and is proud to have made it to be ensign. She struggles a lot with authority, and is snarky and sarcastic, but deep down she really cares about everyone and will fight fiercely for her crew mates. She’s ready to face any challenge and conquer it just to say that she can.

maura is a rough and tough brainiac from boston, massachusetts, who joined the federation when her husband died. she is loyal, always the first to question, and always the last to give up in a fight.

Born in Moscow to parents Andrei Mikhailoich Chekov and Catherine Rykova, it’s no question that Pavel Andreievich Chekov was born for greatness. With an engineer father and a diplomat mother, young Pavel was expected to be a child prodigy, and he did not disappoint. Graduating the academy at the tender age of 17, it’s no surprised that he was assigned to the Enterprise soon after and was appointed as the ship’s tactical officer and navigator in command; however, he is known to shadow those in other factions and help out in any way he can, expanding his skills set and knowledge of being part of a crew.

this is an excellent question, actually. i'd never thought of using a different a different fc for some reason ?? which is why i had chekov closed. but i think as long as it’s not anton ( for obvious reasons ), it should be totally fine, tbh !! and i think everyone would love to see a chekov, especially myself !!
