After reading Daisy Jones & The Six I remembered the movie Almost famous which is also about a fictitious band in the 1970s and how a band is struggling to get gigs, be famous and have a great record out.

I'm reading Daisy Jones & The Six and I am loving it. It's an easy read and I'm flying through the pages. I'm reading it on my phone though, so I'm breaking my own rule about reading actual books or listening to the audiobook. Not that there's anything wrong with reading on a screen. I just like the feeling of having a book in my hands and turning the pages.

It's a book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It's about a fictional rockband in the 70s and it's written in dialogues like an interview you'd read in a magazine.

I'm not done with book just yet, I'm at the point where Daisy and Billy are writing a song together, editing it back and forth.

This is one of the first French songs, I remember. I think the very first one I listened to without understanding the words but also the meaning of the song, was La vie en rose .
