i think making soul sadistic and evil is being too hard on the guy tbh. he has so much weight on his shoulders, it's not shocking he snapped under pressure ☹️ and thats not even going into how dehumanized he was throughout the album

heart wears a mask to appear as an innocent boy, to fool others. mind wear a blank, emotionless or stoic one to hide his emotions, put on a. More logical persona

soul’s Mask could be one that resembles the Whole, fitting in the sense of self. but who truly is he, if not a mask for the whole’s true self?

what really fucks me up about watching the truman show in 2025 is how it's not fictional. truman is fictional, but the truman show isn't.

there's thousands of truman shows. you find them on youtube, tiktok, instagram... family and mommy vloggers, sad beige moms and now the trend of neglectful moms showing the "reality" of parenting. all of them using their kids for entertainment. each child their own truman; living a life manufactured by their parents, a camera watching their every moment, broadcasted for the entire world to see.
