Ah. 70+ hours over the past couple months and I’m doing the last edits.

This project has been so fun, and hasn’t felt like work at all which is really exciting as I’ll be starting as an animation student this year.

Thank you for letting me create this based on your amazing writing, Saline, and I hope you like the final outcome!

Yes, there is mistakes in this like forgotten design details in some shots, proportion inconsistencies, and some sloppiness in poses, but it’s an animatic and it gets the point across so I’m not bothered, and I really would just like to post this rather than dwell on it and fix it up till it’s perfect— (I’m starting to learn to not be a perfectionist :>)

The final thing will be on my YouTube sometime soon, and I’ll post a link here once it is. It’ll include some bts work like the traditionally drawn storyboards and stuff c:

I think I improved my head anatomy a bit w these sketches

His eyes fluttered open briefly, widening completely as a distant glow caught his attention. He sat up, his legs weak from the adrenaline, so he crawled forward, his body aching with every contact he made with the soft, lush grass. The glow became more apparent. It was a green flower. Its stem was a deep emerald shade, holding the budding, moss-green petals, their tips painted a pristine white. Intrigued, Lloyd reached out, the flower’s stamens the source of its otherworldly glow, and drifted a finger along the edge of a petal.
