I absolutely love Harry and Hermione and I do think Harmione and Jily have a lot of parallels to be made but I feel like we're all ignoring the fact that Hermione and her supposed original endgame, Fred, are a true reincarnation of Lily and James.

I mean think about it, Lily and Hermione are both really smart muggle borns who are able to hold their own.

And both James and Fred are troublemakers who love pranks and are quidditch players.
