Happy Halloween! I was really proud of my costume this year, but my B.B.-buddy here seems a bit judgmental...

Finally, a nice sunny Sunday! I’m ready for spring!

For those wondering, I am happy and healthy... though I'll admit I've gotten a little out of shape...

Do you have bottled carbonated/sparkling water? That’s what I use for the seltzer baths - I give my marimo a quick wash with clean plain water to clean out any slime or grit, press out any excess water, and then change the water in its bowl to the bottled bubbly stuff. I imagine you could possibly use club soda, but that has added minerals, so I’m not sure if/how that would affect the marimo. I would be cautious in using the powder for the same reason - I’m not sure if there are any additives that might be harmful.

Today marks two years with my human. We've been together through a bunch of changes, but I like to think I've remained pretty much the same.

I've been laying low through the fall and winter, but with the springtime sunlight, I just can't contain my excitement!

The heat has been ridiculous this summer. Time for a spa day!

Today I've been with my human for a whole year. We've had some good times. I guess I'll keep her.
