@vampybitme and I would say this was one of our top shoots we did together, as well as one of the quickest. I'm very grateful that I was able to capture the hours, hard work, and the intricacies of this costume. As a result of @vampybitme not only capturing the accuracy of the costume, but most importantly becoming the character. #Repost @vampybitme ・・・ I'm so excited to show my shoot of the new costume I made completely from scratch from the new Ghost In the Shell Movie. Ever since I laid my eyes on this design I wanted to make it. This year I wanted to level up my sewing skills and really do something that made me work harder on clean lines and also accuracy. The Major has always been insanely strong and stoic to me so this updated costume really called out to me. I didn't want to make the other costumes since I think a full body suit as well as the front armor and leg armor was more my steeze. Thank you Paramount for believing that I could do this. #Repost @vampybitme ・・・ More images from @fredhuelar of The Major cosplay I made. I couldn't find the exact fabric from the movie so I had to take some liberties and hand dye each part by hand. After some time I really went back to the anime and knew I wanted it to have more of a military green main color instead. Cosplay is awesome in that sense because even as accurate as you want it to become, you can have fun with it too. I also had dyed the bias tape and made it with a bias tape maker which you can buy online ;D I feel like after this project I am more confident in sewing military gear. It's all about leveling up your skills and making time mean something. Thank you once again to #Paramount for this chance, and believing in what I can possibly do as a cosplayer. Also huge shout out to my friend @FredHuelar who also works in the film industry for shooting some random stuff I have in my mind sometimes! #ghostintheshell
