This is "The Showstopper" - it has almost nothing in common with legendary pro wrestler Shawn Michaels despite the similar nickname 🤣 It's the bigger of two food challenges available at 10th Inning Bar & Grill in Southaven, MS. This is one of those restaurant "food challenges" that was advertised as being far smaller than it really was. The unthinkable happened at this year's July 4 Cinnamon Roll Eating Contest - the judges saw double and crowned two champions 😂🏆 Hey - I'm seein' four Krusties! @00kevin_eating and I went the distance, downing roll after roll (total: 8) of sugary goodness til the 12 minutes were up. In honor of Super Mario, I got this giant burger with mushrooms 🍄 I can't say they were magic, but they were grilled and that's pretty much the same thing 🤣 The melty cheese you see running down the sides? 🧀 You don't know "Jack" if you can't figure out what flavor that is. It helped the burger hold together - which is a plus when you're trying to stack 11 patties. My only gripe here is - I think we needed more than one slice of tomato to adorn the top bun. My first Glacier Half Marathon is in the books. 👟📚 I helped pace the 3:30 position, which really helped me slow down and take in the scenery. You don't run in the Park itself, but you're close enough to see some mountain ranges, forest, and water. Definitely as scenic as any place. 📷 One of my (new) life goals is to complete a half-marathon in every U.S. state. With this race, Montana is now taken off the list. I've only run half-marathons in a handful of states, so there's plenty of ground left to cover. Hopefully this motivates me to stay in shape for many years to come ⛹️‍♂️ and just maybe this crazy goal motivates even one person to try something new. Yesterday was the return of the Half Marathon at Fontana Days after two years 👀 👀 The crowd wasn't as big as I remembered, but it felt refreshing to get out in the cool morning air and belt out 13 miles before the sun 🌞 came out and melted us all. My personal best time on a half marathon happened at Fontana Days (twice, in fact) but this year I was not in solid form. The downhill is crucial but it isn't everything if you aren't ready.
