I'm in my feels thinking about Helena accidentally freezes Alistair a couple of times in early fights. She's just so unused to fighting and he moves in front of her and bam: cone of cold. Thinking about how she'd overdo it on the apologies, making him tea with whatever they had and wrapping blankets around him. She would enter full panic mode about it.

Twins run in families and, while Helena doesn't know much of the Amells, they carry that trait. Leandra had Bethany and Carver, for instance. Revka even bore twins, not that Helena knows anything about her siblings. Helena, herself, may be more likely to have twins, as a result.

She's not fond of their weird little hands, to start with, but she can tolerate that. What she can't tolerate is the constant squeaking. It didn't take her long to regret giving Leliana a nug, but she would never tell Leliana that. She endured it, but was increasingly okay with dying to darkspawn just to escape the squeaks.

Hi! So, Helena uses her frost magic to seal open wounds with her own blood. Just artificially creating a scab/bandage by solidifying the blood that's coming from it. It's a temporary fix until she can find a healer, only intended to keep herself from bleeding out.

Helena's mabari is named Bear. He features a swirling, sky-blue kaddis. Occasionally, Helena will wear eye paint to match his kaddis. His personality is both lion and lamb. Brutal in combat, but an over-sized lapdog in calmer times. He's the sort of dog that has to be reminded that he's not small. In addition, he is almost always incredibly well-groomed, when the situation allows. He has that dog smell, certainly, but he's kept cleaned and bathed somewhat regularly. It's harder to keep him clean when on the road, but once Helena's somewhere stationary, for a while, he is kept presentable.

Helena makes her own tea blends, when she's able. She's quite familiar with herbs and their medicinal properties and will make tea for people when she thinks they're sick or aching. While at Skyhold, she uses the garden to grow herbs for teas specifically.
