more tales! More inktober to come! HEY!

Lots of coffee and music. I'm working all day, every day, on my new book. My first book. It will be publish by Penguin Random House and I can't wait. Keep your eyes peeled. 

Illustrating 40 stickers for LINE was a dream come true. They were translated into English, German, Russian, Spanish and French! (which is still hard for me to believe) Every day I receive the most lovely comments from every corner of the world saying how much you loved them. I'm so glad you like my stickers, you made my day <3

Illustrations for Ecoembes, "an organisation that cares for the environment through recycling and the eco-design of packaging in Spain". For this particular project they wanted to promote workshops with musical instruments made out of recycled items :)

Before working with Que Pasa magazine I was very scared to do portraits. (Can I say this on my portfolio? Or would I sound unprofessional?) I always felt capturing the essence of someone was hard as hell and it would take me years to do it properly. But the opportunity came and I had to do it the best I could. I'm still light years to do good portraits but at least now I'm glad when they asked me to do one. 

Since Que Pasa magazine talks about science (within other subjects), I had the pleasure to illustrate Jasper Heinrich and Arieh Warshel.

Antes de trabajar para la revista Qué Pasa tenía mucho miedo de hacer retratos (puedo decir esto en mi portafolio? O voy a sonar poco profesional?) Siempre sentí que capturar la esencia de alguien era horriblemente difícil y que me tomaría años dominar el arte para hacerlo correctamente. Pero la oportunidad se dio y tuve que hacerlo lo mejor que pude. Aun estoy a años luz de hacer buenos retratos, pero ahora al menos estoy feliz cuando me piden uno.
