Framing Hanley in Las VegasÂ
Will never forget FH
I will never forget the first me I saw FH, it was 23rd September 2010 in underworld, London. It was my first every and one of the best I've ever been to. The other ones being other FH gigs in London.
I got to meet all the members minus one as he had a nose bleed, and even got a signed t shit from Nixon which I have to this very day. Framing Hanley helped me kept through all the hard parts of my life as I have suffered from depression and other mental health issue for a few years now. I will never forget their music and will never forget them, this tattoo, along with the lyrics on my arms shows my continues support of them and how they will be with me forever
Signed, Rhys Howick,
I found Framing Hanley in January 2012. I was in high school, and discovered them through our very cool art teacher who was playing the acoustic "Hear Me Now" on her computer, and they quickly rose to be one of my favorite bands. I got my friends into the group, and we found a lot of inspiration in the music for our writing, which has remained a huge part of me to this day. The band's music has always been there in a sense, through good times and bad, and it gave me the strength to keep going when not a lot of anything else did. I have many fond memories attached to all three albums. I know FH has since split, but I would like to wish all of the members nothing but the best! I hope that they all continue to inspire others in their future endeavors. ♥

A message from Framing Hanley's Nixon:
Gonna keep this short & sweet:
Saturday night was a perfect ending to what has been the most incredible 8 years of our lives. I don't think any of us envisioned that night ever being as special as it truly ended up being to us. I mean, we knew it would be a special night obviously, but you guys closed this chapter with us in a pretty spectacular fashion, giving us a magical evening to serve as a everlasting memory. Thank you to all of you who attending ‪#‎TheFHinalAct‬ in Nashville on Saturday night and, once again, thank you to any of you that have ever supported Framing Hanley in any way at all. You don't know how much you mean to us, and your support will never be forgotten.
Sometime in the next few months, we will be releasing one last release. An EP called "One Más More" that will feature 2 full band b-side songs that you've never heard and 5 acoustic versions of songs from TSOWWA. We will let you know when that will be coming out, but we wanted to go ahead and let you know about it now.
Before I leave you, I just want to say that if you take anything away from this post, I beg of you to love each other more than you do already. Strangers, friends, family alike; this world is a scary place and I think really just a little more love (like the love you have showed us for 8 years) could make a huge difference. I love you all.
~Kenneth Nixon
Best night
Dear Framing Hanley, I wanted to tell you how much I loved the show in Columbus, Ga on Sunday May 3rd. It was my first time getting to see and meet you all and though I am sad it was my last I had an awesome time I will never forget how much fun a rock concert would be. You all are awesome and don't let anyone tell you different. Love you guys.
Here is an article I wrote about Framing Hanley coming to Houston, along with a personal account and thank you to the band for an awesome 8 years of music. http://www.vitalsoundmedia.com/?p=1844
The members of Framing Hanley have impacted my life so much more than I can ever thank them for. Thank you! Twitter: @FramingKimmi

My thank you for an amazing night @PensGirl872958
So my best friend and I went to see Framing Hanley in Syracuse, NY on May 8, 2014 and we paid for the VIP tickets for the eat and greet. We had a blast hanging with the guys sfter the show. I wanted to say thank you to you guys. I've never seen my best friend talk so comfortably around people she hasn't known personally. You guys made us feel so welcomed and like we've been friends forever. It was nice to see her relax and be part of a group. I will never forget that night and I wanted you guys to know about it too
Thank You for the Magic
######################################################## If you decide to publish this on the FramingHanley.net website, Thank you. Before you do, please take out from "By the time Gabriel was five" up to and including "weeks at a time." from paragraph one. I do not need that out there. ...and maybe this: "I don't know your stories or why you are splitting up." up to and including "but I've been there and it almost destroyed my marriage." Second and third paragraphs from the bottom. I don't want it out because I don't want it out there, but because sometimes I just have to say things and I have no valid reason why. If I don't say it , it haunts me, but it might be too close to home for some. If it bothers no one, than by all means leave it in. ######################################################### Nixon I want to take the time to thank you for your kindness. You helped make my time with my son, Gabriel, magical. We both have memories to last a lifetime. I try desperately to make our time together fun, funny, and memorable. You see, I suffer from an imbalance that causes regular and often severe blood clotting. By the time Gabriel was five, I had died twice in a hospital (Not related to clotting), had my doctor fight with a surgeon to stop a procedure that would have left me crippled, and had two clot induced heart attacks. Last year, it was suspected that I had two blood clot induced minor strokes. I am often bedridden for weeks at a time. I could be around for years or not even tomorrow. I just never know. Maybe I'm just a little drama queen-ish. I am *NOT* telling you this for your sympathy, no, no, no. I hate being on the receiving end of that "poor Faith/Poor me" victim sh**. I'm telling you, so you will know how much you touched our lives. Takings my phone and my credit card and ALL my cash (tee-hee-hee) to make sure Gabriel met every band member and got his picture taken with them meant the world to me and to him. I missed my pics, but that was my fault. I took so long that everyone except you and Brandon were in the motorhome and I didn't want to impose. You guys deserve your downtime. I've been on a mindset/lesson tract to teach Gabriel that people are people whether they have fortune, fame, or neither, every chance I get. That fame and fortune allows people to be who they really are, it doesn't change them. Framing Hanley, as a whole, allowed me to show him that fame doesn't necessarily equal egotistical and/or jerk. You as a group and individually are among the nicest people I have had the privilege to meet. Thank you for that too. My husband, who is my musical opposite, (We can only agree on Fiona Apple, 60's-70's rock and a little more.) decided to listen to *said in my deepest pretend man voice* "these guys that you and Gabriel are so impressed with." He played the vinyl that I never intended to play because I bought the digital version when it first came out. Ssshhh, don't tell him, he'll feel bad. So, through our stories, FH has touched even him. I also want to apologize for having my phone cam on the whole time. It's rude and I like to enjoy the show more than the memory of it. Oh, and the worse part is the elephant (Gabriel says, "No, it's a donkey.") singing in the foreground. (I think it was me, yeesh! I couldn't hear me, why did the phone?) I did it for Gabriel's memories. He was afraid to come to the front of the stage because there was minor moshing during the local bands. So, he stayed in his seat and could only see Ryan once in a while. Lastly, I meant what I said about hoping to hear from you again musically someday. Some people believe that for a person to have a talent, and not share it, is a waste. I don't, it's your's, you do with it what you will. But I do believe that when a really good artist, such as yourself, withdraws his talents or passes away, the world is a little less bright. Ryan I just want to say thanks for taking the time to take pictures with my son, Gabriel. You made our day...maybe even our year. You are very talented, even your "haunting music" was quite beautiful. (If they tease you, your's is only shortest because I didn't get to interact with you.) Jonathan Thanks for taking the time to talk with my son, Gabriel, and take pictures with him. After the Lancaster show, all he talked about was how he wished he had met you. You were the biggest reason I bought the tickets for the Stanhope House. (I really wanted to see you all again too.) Framing Hanley is one of only three bands whose music/lyrics blow me away. Just so you know what caliber you are in, the other two are Nine Inch Nails and The Cure. NIN for when I'm pissed, Cure when I'm sad and FH when I'm done my personal pity party and ready to get over it. Thank you for taking time with him and showing genuine interest. I'm hoping to use what you said to him, especially the part about practice, to get him to take structured lessons. He has an uncle who has taught guitar and bass to a few recognizable players, but he's afraid of structure and lacks the discipline to practice. My uncle *will* kick him out if he doesn't follow through. It's my fault, I know. Also, thank you for signing his shirt. He's making me embroider your signature and Nixon's signature onto it because he's afraid it might fade in the wash...someday. He won't let me wash it, not even once, until I do. Brandon Thank you so much for taking the time to take pictures with me and my son, Gabriel, and for taking the time to chat with us. It really meant a lot to me that you took your wind-down time to ask him all those questions and show genuine interest in his answers. You made him feel very special. He likes that you told him that the drummer and bassist were the two most important members of a band. That impressed him because 1) he's only ever heard that from bass players and 2) he's always hearing jokes about how only other bass players pay attention to the bass player. And like Jonathan, you encouraged him to practice which is his biggest hang up...discipline. Thank you. Of all the pictures we took on Tuesday, the picture of you with him is our favorite. We love the expression. Chris Thank you for taking the time to take pictures with my son, Gabriel. He was very impressed by you. Thank you so much for the drum stick you gave to him. And now, thanks to you, he is asking for a drum set to go with his guitar and his bass and his ukulele and the keyboard and the piano and I'll probably have to get rid of a couch and sit through the Victor Wooten/Carter Beauford DVD for the umpteenth time...But it's all good. ---- I don't know your stories or why you are splitting up. It's none of my business anyway, but you all seem to be having so much fun on stage that I believe that, for at least one of you, it is an outside source, money, travel, family, maybe even the "Stupid Squirrel," maybe something else entirely. To you, I want to leave you with this: It takes a strong man to leave what he loves for someone(s)/thing(s) outside of himself. But it takes an even stronger man to not eventually resent them for it. Try to remember exactly why you left to keep resentment at bay and keep your inner light. Resentment takes a while to rear it's ugly head, but I've been there and it almost destroyed my marriage. I wish you all the best of fortune and happiness in your future endeavors and with your families. If you move on musically, I hope to have the opportunity follow your new adventures and to see you perform again. Love this band so much @kristinsgaming I’m Kristin and 24 took by me
I’ve only been able to make it to one show so far, sadly it was during their last tour. I saw them at Al Rosa Villa in Columbus on May 9th. I was standing up by the stage and super excited. However, they played a song that struck an emotional chord and I broke down. Actually bawled like a baby. I don’t even remember the song! A few of my friends hugged me when I started crying and I looked up to see Nixon standing right in front of me, holding out his hand. I grabbed it and he squeezed mine annnnnd, I cried even more! I got a hug from him at the merch table and met Ryan too. Seeing Framing Hanley live was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I plan to see them at least one more time on their last tour. To say I am sad to see my favorite band call it quits is a very big understatement. They’re such a huge inspiration and deserve to have so much more credit than they have been given. I love you guys and wish you all the best.
