Things have been off for a few weeks. Suffice to say, I’ve resolved my dilemma

And now we're best friends.

...Not without many amends to be made, of course. And many more crimes on my part before all that.

Part of what makes just a little bit boring, potentially for you, is that my universe was a prerequisite to human kind. A lot of what happened in that universe, is a bit of an echo if not a bit reversed

But our species mostly evolves to adapt to them. Hmm... I suppose an e%ample could be my innate STRENGTH. While many of my b100d color share the trait of being very STRONG, my b100dline is overly so. In a way that is not normal. Other mutations include stronger psionics, blood colors that are otherwise I'm matching any of the input genetic material. Wings, many things

It is, which is why it's so unfortunate that it's toxic.

I don't find that boring at all. If anything, I find it curious. They say history repeats itself, and this may just be another case of that.

Interesting. Such things can cause mutations in humans as well, though most of the time, they end up more detrimental than helpful.

Oh, yes. I caused quite a bit of trouble when I was even younger. I was planning heists by the age of ten.

Of course, I'd have never been able to get away with my crimes had my own adult supervision not gone along with it. Really, Butler, you're going to let a twelve year old drag you around the world to look for a magical fairy book so that he can kidnap an elf? What could I have done if he'd refused? Bite him?

But then again, it was his job to accompany me on such escapades. I probably wouldn't have bitten him, as that is quite unbecoming, but I'm sure I would've had a tantrum about it. I was twelve, after all.

it's really not even that scandalous. i was always going to tell Elliot, i just thought it would be better in person. oh well. you're probably right, and no one even remembers by now.

It probably would have been, but at least the hardest part is over.

Everyone here has the attention span of a mayfly. I doubt anyone else would've brought it up if you hadn't, honestly.

It is my job as the eldest while our parents go off on another one of their trips. Though it's not as if they need complete supervision anymore; they'll be fifteen this year, after all. I'm mostly meant to make sure they don't bring about some sort of cataclysmic event, as we Fowls are wont to do.

that's probably good advice. i guess i thought people would ask me silly questions, or serious ones i would trip over myself answering. i didn't expect all of them to gang up on that one stupid topic.

Well, people do love a good scandal, and gossip mongers have a keen ear for a juicy story. But considering this is Tumblr, it probably won't affect your reputation elsewhere. I'm sure everyone will forget within the next couple weeks, anyway.

i had a pretty bad headache this morning, but brunch, a nap, and dinner helped.
