Koga was having the time of his life; even if he didn’t know many people here, he was just glad to be able to enjoy himself. Seeing the other boy he grinned “Pretty people is where it’s at Sir.” He stammered following the other to the dance.

“Hell yeah it is!” Artie agrees, setting his crutches aside to guide the other boy to the floor. He had only danced with one other guy during that night so far, so going for another wasn’t something he even bat an eye at. “Can’t say I know your face that well. You got a name, my dude?” 

She followed Artie out onto the dance floor, giggling slightly at his bow with her patented eye roll, “You’re so ridiculous,” she said, moving closer to him and taking her place in front of him with their hands where she figured they should be. “Let you lead hmm? And what would that look like? I don’t even know the first thing about this whole dancing thing. Not really my scene.”

Valentine was about to comment on the others crutches before he’s smiling at the other taking his hand and Valentine was simply taking that invitation to slide closer and he placed his hand on Artie’s shoulder as he grinned at the other taking the lead, easily falling into a more submissive, follower role in the dance. “That is very, very true. It’s quite the story to brag to everyone. “ He mused lightly as he followed the dance. “ I mean, how often does one get swept off their feet by actual royally? Not very often. Not to mention, he’s a handsome prince to boot.”

Artie lets himself laugh, while giving a teasing and exaggerated hair flip as he didn’t have the length to do such an act. “Handsome, you say. I’ll take it.” Wasn’t often that he got the compliments from the same sex, and while he was inwardly battling on if he was into guys or not, he could take what the pretty guy in his arms was saying to him with perfect grace and see it as truth. “Though really, it’s a shame you didn’t get crowned. Look at this outfit of yours, yo. You’d make a pretty prince yourself. You want my princely crown? I think it’d suit you better with these enchantin’ eyes of yours.”

Recognizing Artie’s voice through the din, she turned, grinning as she spotted him not too far away and making her way over. “You do make quite the dashing Prince, Sir.” She quipped with a grin, “I think it’s only fitting that I get to steal a dance from you.” 

“Well far be it for me to deny myself a dance with a prince.”  Vale teased with a little bow of his head before he chuckled and walked towards the dance floor with a hand out for the other to take.  “Come on, handsome, let’s go make all the other people a little jealous of me. No?”He teased with a wink. 

As it would’ve been a big difficult to maneuver, Artie removes his crutches from the arm supports and leans them again the wall so he can half-jog, half-limp towards Valentine on the dance floor. Making the bold move to take Valentine’s hand in his and encourage the other close. “Oh, that shouldn’t be so difficult.” He winks, taking the lead in the dance without hesitation. “Now ya can brag about dancin’ with royalty at your next cocktail party, and have everyone even more impressed by ya.”

“Congrats on the win, my prince.”  Valentine was more than a little amused at just how happy the other was at the current revelation he’d one.  Valentine was dolled up to the nines as he normally was as he curled a hand around the drink with a little nod. “Oh, I’m sure you’ll have a line of pretty people wanting your attention, Sir.” 

She looked up at Artie, a small smirk pulling at the corners of her mouth. “You don’t have to do that, if it’s easier. I’m not much of a dancer as it is so it’s not like I’ll move that much.” She sighed as she looked at his out stretched hand, “fine,” she said softly, another half smile threatening to cross her face again. She took his hand and pushed herself up off the chair to follow him to the dance floor.

Dave glanced around the large room, and felt pretty good about his decision to not bother with finding a date. First, he didn’t want to bother people he barely knew by whining about a date. Second, he was curious about what serving at an event like this was like. Would people treat him like a Dom? A sub? A slave? He had no idea. He held up a tray of drinks, as he walked through the crowd. “Yo, drinks! Come and get them while they’re not on the floor!”

Not having much of an idea of where his date sulked off to, Artie flags down Dave to encourage him and his tray of drinks closer. “With how hot it is in here, I think people will take the drinks off the floor as well at this point. Hot damn.” Picking two glasses up, he takes a drink of one and leans heavily on his crutches with a satisfied sigh. “You’re a lifesaver. Was about to pass out from dehydration, yo. Wouldn’t be pretty.”

Willa sat at a table, swishing around the last bit of punch in her cup as she looked onward to everyone else. She hated this. Yeah, she looked good, Valentine had made sure of that. But she never felt more out of her element than she did right now. All eyes on her, and dressed in a way she would never do of her own valition. Her eyes went up as someone else came to the table, “I’m not much of a dancer, so don’t bother. Just counting the minutes until this is over.”

Oh, thank you, Sir. One of the Dommes also offered me a spot. But should she change her mind and your second spot still be open, I would like that very much. But definitely don’t feel the need to hold the spot open for me if someone else should come along to fill it.

Though, perhaps you could save a dance for me?

You kiddin’? Anyone would be a fool for changing their mind on takin’ you, gorgeous. But I’ll keep the invite open anyway, just to make sure you get there in the end and have some fun.
