This blog is about helping questioning members of the lgbt community relate to other gender identities and sexualities through fictional characters.

It is not a blog to post about ships, voltron as a whole, or cannon evidence about a certain character.

We will guide you to the gender identity or sexuality you identify most as, and help you along the way, as well as give you a character to relate to.

If this blog is a success, other blogs may be introduced with different fandoms.

Recently honored in the ABC series “When We Rise”, the openly gay artist is remembered for designing the unifying symbol of the LGBT community and movement. 

The rainbow flag was first designed and handmade in 1978. A rainbow was used to reflect the fact that LGBT people are of natural beauty. The first flag was flown on June 25, 1978 at San Francisco Pride, with 8 colors. Each had its own meaning: hot pink for sexuality, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, turquoise for magic/art, blue for harmony, and violet for the spirit. Following the assassination of influential leader Harvey Milk, the flag was in high demand and was revised to retain efficiency. Nowadays, the flag is shown as having 6 evens colors, having dropped hot pink and turquoise.

This took me like 3 days to make but I’m :’) so proud

today is not a day for you to out your trans friends/acquaintances, because of “pride and visibility.” That’s not supportive, it’s dangerous. If you know someone is closeted, do not pressure them to post selfies or come out or whatever today. use the pronouns they need to use in public for their safety.

if you want to be supportive today, reblog selfies and information by people who are out and want their voices boosted. donate to trans charities and gofundmes/donation posts on here, if you’re in a monetary situation you can do so. check in on your trans/nb friends (privately) and see if they’re doing okay.
