“Your words, not mine!” Sora laughed, raising her hands defensively before leaning against them and the stove. “Your options are very open.” She taunted lightly before looking around them. “It probably comes with the lifestyle though.” She mused. 

Tatiana Maslany’s laugh is everything.

She’d been inspecting the range and jumped slightly when he spoke so close to her. Turning, she bumped into the stove before pressing her lips together to hide a smirk. “Well, the sheer amount of women you go after is actually rather impressive. I would say that you don’t have a type, but given how many stumble into the restaurant at all hours, I think I have a good idea.” She teased.

Sora smirked, following after him with a brief glance back into his apartment. It wasn’t often she got any insight on Alex, mostly he seemed keen on diversion and sarcasm. “Ah, but is there soundproofing between my place and your place?” She asked, “I’ve seen the women you go after.” She teased accusingly as she stepped into the lavish and vacant condo. “How come no one else has claimed it yet?” Sora wondered, thinking that there was more room there than she knew what to do with. Still...on the off chance that nothing actually went wrong, this could be the place she lived for the next several years. Running a hand through her curls, she sighed, going to investigate the kitchen before the restroom.

“Yes, it’s the one personality trait that I have, don’tcha know?” Grumbling as she looked down at the tablet, she placed it on the coffee table and stood. “Alright, fine, let’s go look at the one across the hall.” She suggested. “Bruno could use the room,” A mischievous glint shone in her eyes and she suddenly took on a southern accent. “And it would be just heaven if I could live across from my handsome savior.” She gushed, fanning herself. 

“Me?” He took the tablet back and looked at her incredulously. “Can’t you do your thing and figure out which one you’re supposed to pick?” Looking down at the tablet, he scratched the top of his head and then chuckled. “If I have to pick I’m putting you in the massive until across the hall from me then.”

“Massive unit across the hall…” She repeated, smirking and narrowing her eyes. “You just want my cooking closer to you, don’t you?”

“Enough about the past though, why don’t we find your new digs.” He pulled up the list of available places to live. It not only included the places in the building but all of the Original’s territory. He handed it over to her with a grin. “Pretty much anything on here is up for grabs.

“Is it weird that now when I look at this, I’m trying to be tactical. On the one hand, living here seems safe cause we’re with the Originals, and all the other Second Gen, no place is safer. But more place is more dangerous. It’s like there’s a giant target on this place.” Placing the tablet on her knees, she stared down at it and rubbed small circles into her temples for a few moments before taking the tablet and thrusting it back at him. “You choose.”

“Why didn’t you say something before?” It was unfortunate that he didn’t remember but there were plenty of people he could ask to help him pull those memories up if he wanted to. “That’s umm…” he paused, not knowing really what else to say. “well I’m glad I didn’t know, that would have been a lot of pressure.”

“Oh, I don’t know. What I supposed to say ‘Oh hey, by the way, thanks for saving my life and coming to my rescue when the government went full on X-Files on me.’” She could feel her face heating up and was beginning to wish she hadn’t said anything. But it had been on her mind for a while, and it was impossible not to think about it, even briefly whenever she saw him. Frowning, she glanced back to him. “How so?”

Smirking suddenly, she glanced at him. ‘And then you came and got me out. I wasn’t as practiced as I am now, but I saw you coming, and that was the only thing that kept me together.”
