Hizashi glanced over his shoulder to find Emi ducking into their bathroom, eyebrow ticking up when he saw that she was wearing an outfit that closely matched his own - a striped, loose-fitting button-down and dark colored skinny jeans.

He grinned wide as he spread his arms, heart fluttering when the teal-haired woman immediately wrapped her arms around his waist and tucked her head under his chin.

Her nerves were understandable - tonight was the night, the night that they were mashing their friend groups together and making their announcement.

Hizashi bit his lip against a giddy smile as he remembered the way his heart had skipped a beat when he’d turned around to find the teal-haired woman kneeling with a bright grin.

“I don’t think so,” He said finally, rubbing a hand over her back, “I think we look great.”

Emi propped her chin against his collarbone, pretty lips pursed into a pout, “You don’t think the double stripes makes us look like a convict couple?”

Hizashi snorted and bowed his head to let their noses brush, “I doubt that’s what our friends will be thinking.”

“It’s what Shouta will be thinking,” Emi protested, wrinkling her nose as she said her best friend’s name.

Hizashi rolled his eyes and kissed each of her cheeks, “Well, at least you know he’s not the type to say something about it at dinner.”

“Noooo, but he’ll definitely text me about it later!” Emi complained, hands skittering down Hizashi’s back until she could solidly squeeze his bum, “And it’ll be your fault, you know!”
