Chapter 1 Part 2
The ventilation was unwelcoming and nipped at Tai Yang’s skin- the once enervated air-conditioner began to exert, causing all heat and sweat to drain. Sensing that trouble was about to erupt, Tai Yang sprinted towards his chaotic office so that he could grab his emergency pistol from the locked cabinet under his desk. Even though he didn’t use it often, he thought it was better to be armed and prepared, than to be possibly abducted by the intruder. He quickly and efficiently put in the right combination of numbers to successfully unlock the container and grabbed the pistol by it’s handle. He loaded it with a few hard-shelled bullets and removed the safety lock.
His masked adversary approached him cautiously with a gray-ish cloth that reeked of methamphetamine, sedatives, and a mixture of aphrodisiacs. He looked like your typical, messy, drug addict- except he didn’t seem like he used any, and had a seductive atmosphere that wrapped around him. He wore a voluminous black, V-neck polo shirt with short sleeves that revealed his muscular arms, a pair of baggy ash-gray pants, a pair of prim, night-lock gloves, and an ebony, black mask that covered half of his face. His eyes were jet black with a hint of brown, and with determination to knock him out. “Damn. I was going to overwhelm you with the tampered air conditioner, but it seems like that didn’t work- so I’m going to have to do it manually now.”, his voice was deep, and resonant. It sounded as if he was slightly annoyed, but hid it so well that Tai Yang almost overlooked it. “Get closer and I’ll fucking shoot you-”, he choked a little- the threat was real, but the intruder wasn’t terrified, nor anxious. He just smirked pitifully as if he was told that someone he knew and despised fell into a gambling debt. “Oh sweetheart, I don’t think you realize that those bullets are fake. The real threat is just me.”. Tai Yang second-guessed himself, and looked down to check- but that was the wrong move. With frightening speed, the pistol was snatched from Tai Yang’s grasp- forcing him to pull the trigger and hit the vase nearby, and then finally being thrown to the other side of the room before the intruder aggressively pinned him in a choke hold. Tai Yang’s eyes widened, caught off-guard by the statement before attempting to knee him in the guts. He struggled, trying to pull the masked figure off him while trying not to fall unconscious; as he now had the cloth shoved forcefully in his face. “Mmph-!”, they fell to the floor, the masked figure pinned him to the ground with much strength, and received a punch in the face which he quickly regained composure from. “Damn it- stop resisting before I knock the wind out of you in a more painful method-”. Tai Yang finally found a gripping point in the struggle, and flipped him to his back- the cloth now removed due to the vantage point he had over the masked figure. “How about you stop trying to knock me out, and you’ll get just 2 years in prison for assaulting me-”, Tai Yang spoke in between muffled breaths as they attacked each other consecutively. The masked individual retorted, “OR, I can continue until you either surrender now or fall unconscious, and I get off free-!”, he jabbed his fingers into Tai Yang’s side. “Shit-!, Damn it you-!”, the man was now on top of him, and he was stuck to the ground like he was glued there. “Shut up, and give up-!”. Once again, Tai Yang felt the cloth forced on his face, inhaling the toxins. As this happened, he began to grab his opponent’s fist, twisting it, and pulling the mask off, and forcing the handkerchief on him instead. As legend has it, the now unmasked man ended up tied to a chair in Tai Yang’s chaotic office.
The silence was eerie, and Tai Yang stood in front of the man, examining his features. He had fluffy obsidian-like hair, brown coffee eyes, and looked very masculine. Eventually, he was able to identify him as one of the gang members from the アンカーされた criminal gang organization. “So, you’re Ashur Ardolf-..right-?”, he questioned with persistency. “No-”, “Liar.”. The interruption was stern, and soon Ashur yielded. “Alright, fine..-”, Tai Yang couldn’t help but smirk knowing he was right. “Huh, so you can cooperate. Excellent.”, he grabbed the urban-red booklet with the leather frame and silvery clasp. He searched for the right page before interrogating Ashur further, “So, I’m going to assume you’re the soldier-member..yes?”, “Yes.”, he grunted in annoyance, “And I won’t be answering any more of your questions because, why would I?”. Tai Yang’s eyes narrowed, “Well, I think it’s fair that I know who you are since you attempted to kidnap me earlier-, don’t you think?”. This only made him chuckle, “How about I say, no~?”, “Listen, I’m not joking around-”, “To me, you’re just too oblivious to be taken seriously..~”, he joked. Tai Yang scowled, “Shut the fuck up, I am not oblivious-, and stop interrupting me-”. Tai Yang walked away from where Ashur sat, tied up straightening, and put the booklet on his work desk. Ashur decided to mess with him a little, “Oh, and by the way, you’re really pathetic- you know that?”, Tai Yang turned around, turns out that if you don’t sleep for over three days in a row, you can unlock some serious anger outlets. He turned around slowly in an unnerving way as if he was about to crash out. “What. Did. You. Say?”, “I said..”- his voice was so unrealistically calm. “I said that you are really pathetic~”. Anger clawed desperately to escape out into action. Just as Tai Yang was about to beat him up to a pulp, he was suddenly free, and darted out with the booklet while putting his mask back on. He gritted his teeth and chased after him, “Come back here with my booklet, you motherfucker-!”, but it was too late; he had already disappeared outside, breaking through the top floor window; which exploded into an oblivion, and pulling on some hidden zip that let him glide out smoothly in a paraglider. “حظا أفضل في المرة القادمة, detective.”, he uttered before vanishing into the caverns of jungled birchwood, oak, and acacia trees. The shattered glass plummeted onto the front steps of his marble steps, and scattered all over the top floor, and onto the lapis carpet. Shards of glass fragments cut through Tai Yang’s left cheek, causing a burning sensation that dripped blood onto his crisp, creamy white collared shirt. The shards cut bitterly through his lips, and sliced roughly against his wrist, drawing heavy blood. He groaned in frustration. “Shit. He has the booklet-..-”. If Ashur ended up sharing it with his gang, the classified information could put the whole investigation at risk. But then again, it was no doubt that he knew the booklet was valuable information about the investigation, which was why he would’ve taken it in the first place. {Wait…that means he knew-}, his eyes widened, “Fuck.”.

Chapter 1 Part 1
The dark waxing, crimson moon hung high above the murky waters in a hypnotic way. The horde of silver-tainted Ribbon fishes circled and miraculously seemed to sliver around like a merry-go-round multiplying in quantities. They flashed their intriguing glimmering skin across the surface of the deep-end pond mysteriously. Smoke danced along the coarse breeze, twisting into different shapes and forms with such melancholy. The trance of dizzying night birds screeched fluke notes into the arid desolate blackriver trail. Tall, mingles of birchwood, oak, and acacia trees, impaled, and bare leaned against the Earth’s axis. The limbs of the evergreen stretched and cut into the atmosphere in a twisting way. It reeked of gunpowder essence, bitter cigarette smoke, and honeydew drops. The air was a sickening warmth, slick with heat and stuffy despite the moderately blowing breeze.
“Lei Zhang”. Some called him Tai Yang, if they knew him that well. Deep in this elegant, yet grotesque paradise, was his modern house, with thicket bushes shrouding the window with a slight half-moon lit view towards the eerie lake. It had a marble archway with cobblestone balconies, translucent creamy curtains, chandeliers dangling from the main dining and multi-purpose room, quartz-lined encrusted staircases, and high-end lapis carpets lining every hallway. Tai Yang’s house was the definition of modern-antique in contrast to the dreamy nightmare outside. He was a detective sworn to bring justice to any crime he was tasked with. And with that, a very good one too; which explained his wealth.
He was trying to piece together evidence on the disappearance of his victim and client in the modern living room when suddenly, his phone started to ring. It vibrated in his formal dress pant’s pocket as he took it out to answer the, perhaps important call. The complexion glinted off the screen, and silver-edge of the blocky metal. It was the chief of the police department, which only ever happened whenever he had a new traumatic occurrence to deal with, or if there was new information concerning his current manifestation. He answered the phone, and on the other side of the line was Mateo Rodrigeuz, who was as stern as he always was. “Tai Yang, I know you are currently working on the case of the abduction of the citizens, but a few of our police officers have found multiple similar occurrences these past few days. I have a new task for you to look at detective, it’s about the kidnappings, disappearances, and killings of our VIPs, and fellow comrades who’ve all gone without a trace. We think that this case is bigger than we thought. I’m sure you’ve been watching the news, correct?”. Tai Yang didn’t spare a second and responded swiftly, “Yes Chief, I’ve seen the news, I was wondering if you were going to send me out to investigate or not. As for the new information, I’ll take note of that.”. In a husky voice Mateo continued the conversation by explaining the details, “That’s good to hear, I’ve sent someone to deliver to you the files on all of the suspects directly to your confidential mailbox in the garden. I’ve also provided a classified instructions booklet along with it. Study it as much as you can, tomorrow I need you to be at the police department at 5:45 AM, sharp. Have a good rest of your day detective.”. With that, Mateo hung up, and the call ended. Tai Yang didn’t waste any more precious time, and headed to his rather large private greenhouse. Lotus flowers were speckled everywhere, a stone pathway, lavender bushes releasing powerful fumes of sweet sugar, grape vines dangling like snakes, and shrubs taller than himself surrounding the layout. Tall iron frames with reflective material covering them completed the look. He went straight towards a blue orchid flower, and opened a gap in the shrub right next to it; which was where the mailbox was. It was painted with a pale, baby blue paint that was slightly peeling off, a mellow orange post lifted upwards, and black lining that made the edges seem to be non-existent with the shadow being casted on it. Tai Yang entered the sly pincode, and opened the lid to see the file booklet and suspect analysis. Once he pulled the dispatch out of the mailbox, he closed it and re-entered the passcode once more to lock it shut. The booklet had a small urban-red clasp with a leather front, and in big bold font: [Classified Information]. Just as he was about to leave the vast greenhouse, he felt an ominous presence of aura around him. When he turned around, he found a ruby-encrusted bracelet on the rock pathway. {What the fuck-...?}. Cautiously, Tai Yang picked up the piece of jewelry and examined it for a moment before heading back, wary. He couldn’t shake off the feeling that someone was watching him from afar, but he wasn’t sure if his mind was just playing tricks on him. After all, he was sleep deprived for the last few days.
When he entered the modern-antique house, a more cooler air hit him; still very balming, but not searing. Tai Yang still found it uncomfortably stuffy, but he couldn’t find out what was wrong with the air conditioner, and what was wrong with it. He didn’t have time to worry about it though, he had an important job to do. He was now pondering on his new case, the Кровавая ворона Mafia and アンカーされた criminal gang organization. They were the currently most dangerous groups in the region- along with the Erste Erwachen mob group, known mostly because of their good looks and lethality. The press was always looking for eye-catching news- or something that would catch people’s attention, so naturally they glorified their godly masculinity– praising them instead of actually warning viewers about the dangers with any kind of contact between them. Tai Yang sat at his chaotic office in a sturdy wooden chair. He never really had the time to decently tidy-up the place, so he just left it like that. The work-papers were grimy with coffee stains, paperclips wandering lost underneath the cabinet, and piles of high-stacked files looming menacingly over the already disordered area. He pushed his black, half square-rimmed reading spectacles up to his nose, looking through some of the profile trait files of the mafia and the gangsters on his teak wood table. His sticky sweat made the milky-white collared shirt stick to him, clinging like a second skin. His hair was moist from the evening sun, and the clammy feel of his inky dress pants were slightly getting intolerable. Even with the air-conditioner on, the refreshing winds were in no way comparable to the summer heat; it was like a heat wave, and Tai Yang was practically swimming in his own sweat.
Tai Yang carefully examined each one of his suspects’ traits, personalities, abilities, connections, and relationships; paying especially close attention to their leaders, “Tsuki Chi” and “Igor Sokolov”. He read the descriptions on the crisp pages- there were a total of nine members in the Кровавая ворона Mafia; The four known members: Igor Sokolov, Luke Travis, Matthew Princeton, Yaniel Acosta, and the five unknown acquaintances. Tai Yang read through the transcripts, [Name: Luke Travis, Age: 17, Gender: Male, Native Country: American/USA Strength: Hacking, Weakness: Ego, Personality: ESTP, Status: Caporegime, Name of Business: Кровавая ворона Mafia], [Name: Matthew Princeton, Age: 20, Gender: Male, Native Country: British/UK, Strength: Archer, Weakness: Likely a hot-headed person, Personality: ISPT, Status: Consigliere, Name of Business: Кровавая ворона Mafia], [Name: Yaniel Acosta, Age: 18, Gender: Male, Native Country: Cuban/Cuba, Strength: Gunner/Weaponist, Weakness: Still very young and prone to nativity, Personality: INTJ, Status: Mafia Henchmen, Name of Business: Кровавая ворона Mafia], and [Name: Igor Sokolov, Age: 23, Gender: Male, Native Country: Russian/Russia, Strength: Artilleries/Explosives, Weakness: Slightly Impulsive, Personality: ENTP, Status: Mafia Boss, Name of Business: Кровавая ворона Mafia]. In the アンカーされた criminal gang organization, there were also nine members; The three known members were Tsuki Chi, Ashur Ardolf, and Borai Seang. The rest were unknown. Tai Yang also read their transcripts, [Name: Tsuki Chi, Age: 22, Gender: Male, Native Country: Japanese/Japan, Strength: Swords master/Knives Specialist, Weakness: Physical Hand Injury, Personality: ISFJ, Status: Gang Leader, Name of Business: アンカーされた criminal gang organization], [Name: Ashur Ardolf, Age: 21, Gender: Male, Native Country: Syrian/Syria, Strength: Drugger/Artilleries/Explosives, Weakness: Stiff, Personality: ESTJ, Status: Soldier-Member, Name of Business: アンカーされた criminal gang organization], and [Name: Borai Seang, Age: 19, Gender: Male, Native Country: Cambodian/Cambodia, Strength: Medic/Hacker, Weakness: Vulnerability due to lack of offense skills, Personality: INTJ, Status: Medical Aid, Name of Business: アンカーされた criminal gang organization].
After going through the transcripts, Tai Yang memorized the information until they were ingrained into his brain. He removed the reading prescriptions, and neatly laid them on the counter of his table. The reason why their case was on his table was because there had been some recent disappearances, murders, and kidnappings, of important high officials, celebrities, VIP Guests, and even fellow officers. The main suspects were the Кровавая ворона Mafia and the アンカーされた criminal gang organization. The police department tasked him with figuring out if the mafia members were really behind these outrageous crimes. Tai Yang started to feel faint- another mild-migraine, the twenty-second one in the last 72 hours. The damp air was no longer tolerable, and he found himself unable to concentrate. He pinched the bridge of his nose, and closed his eyes, letting his optics rest for a moment. “Damn it…I can’t focus on shit with this heat-”. There was an incredibly enormous load of work for him to do; which was why he had to stay up for the last three continuous days. Even though he was being increasingly stubborn about rest, and insisted to himself that he just needed some extra bold, ridiculously substantial, medium roast coffee, there was too much pressure and weight that lied on his shoulders. It seemed that even his cherished caffeinated drink couldn’t help him anymore. Especially with such little time, it was simply impossible for him to avoid it any longer, he was still human after all- and humans needed sleep to think ethically, efficiently, and clearly with a conscious mindset. {Just five minutes. That should do it, I need a break to momentarily regain composure.} He stood up from his seat and made his way into his vast marble kitchen and switched on the blinding white fluorescent lights. The light glittered off the sparkly marble designs, and made glares in the smooth, lined floor tiles. He dragged his sore feet across, and grabbed one of the elaborate glass cups from the sink dishwasher- pouring himself a cold, refreshing drink from the large-scale fridge. He felt his joints start to give way, as if they were demanding paralyzing effects immediately. {Maybe it was just the heat…}, but deep down, he knew it was something else. He felt sickeningly dizzy, and his eyelids grew extremely heavy against the heat. Not wanting to fall over from the deepening heat, he quickly gulped down the ice-cold water to stay conscious. The cold liquid in the soft-pastel cup was soon absent without a trace, and Tai Yang felt less tense as the migraine began to deliberately fade away. He unexpectedly felt cold; as if by magic, the whole house was silent and incredibly frigid, causing a chill to run down his spine. He instantaneously consciously awoke and realized that he was being watched, and his eyes darted around until they met with another pair. The intruder’s.

Prologue:
“Love.” A beautiful thing it can be, simple and individually complex.
That’s aside from the point though. Sometimes love struggles to exist in a cruel world, where the sun never seems to shine- where the depths of wickedness are bottomless. Fear and Chaos rule this world, and the bitter-truth can be revealed at any unpredictable moment. The shrill of confusion is always a step ahead. Where danger hides crudely, waiting for it’s prey, the innocent fall first, always. No one knows the face of sin better than those who’ve fallen deep, consumed and swallowed by immorality. Could you possibly imagine a place where the clouds on a rainy day are the shields from true pain? Where the moon is a forgotten melody? Where the sun is pure evil, and darkness is redemption; because the devil isn’t ugly- it’s handsome.
