This title will forever change like me

- I get the people frustrated about jannik medical time out. I agree that if we consider physicality of the sport part of the sport then maybe there shouldn't be an allowance for players to call medical time out say that it's not for cramp but get similar treatment to what would be for a crams or maybe get benefit to their cramps side effect, that benefits him and as an athlete you will do everything to benefit you. I get why anyone might find that frustrating but I also feel like that's part and parcel of being an athlete. I am of the opinion one won't be the best if they're not taking advantage of every inch given to them. However I can understand being frustrated with that and it's is important to acknowledge that maybe even the players that you idolize can do things that are controversial and can be frustrating or feel unfair to other people.

I do think it's important to note while you're frustrated at jannik, this is definitely one of those things that the ITF / ATP needs to decide on, rather than giving the opportunity to these players and having rules which provide opportunities for this to happen. It's their responsibility to come up with alternative rules that can better prevent MTO for cramps if they want to prevent that while also having a sensible consideration for other types of injuries. And maybe there needs to be some sort of nuance either somebody who's unbiased with medical experience making the judgment call on whether this MTO can count as cramp support or not, or the umpires discretion I don't know currently it's a thing that players can take advantage of therefore if they want to prevent it they need to do better and come up with better rules to prevent it.

- as for the rain it came down very quick very hard. Basic logic says that the rain coming down is not for anyone. I think it can be in either person's favor like "oh maybe if jannik hadn't been taking medical time out then we would have finished that game before it." I can completely understand both positions, Mendelev had a massive benefit to continue playing that probably offset the risk when the rain initially started falling, because he had a chance to hold. Whereas jannik who has just come from a medical timeout possibly felt like the rain risk bigger and I also think that his fear of seeing "oh look how many people having immediately left the stadium as soon as it started raining" and the way the rain seem to be speeding up that is better to stop as early as possible and yes once again althete will do what benefits to them. I do think it's unfortunate the rain decided to come down when it was deuce. I understand that we stopped here at a hold point but before that jannik had a breakpoint and it was raining as well. And he did keep looking around of all we're not gonna stop itin the previous point. I believe the umpire said I'm fine with it then the point was played and then it was asked again because it came down even harder. I disagree a little bit with people saying "that you play to the servers pace" the rain creates a unique situation and I think to talk to the umpire is a reasonable pause to the rule of "following the servers pace" because there's no other opportunity to do it. Unfortunately it's just one of those things where the rain has come at this really awkward timing and has created a conflict that wouldn't be there for the rain came at any other time. But I do think noting that the break will probably help mendelev because jannik almost had another break you could really see him kind of getting into that rhythm again and finding second wind and the rain has broken that, where something's a positive and negative for both players I think it's actually from the enough for most fair things we can get. It's like a contract the best kind of contract makes everyone feel like they lost out a little bit. If one person's happy that means the other person did not get enough.
