I really hope all of you will do well in the things you love. I may not be there in your milestones all the time. But I'm really happy and honoured to be there for you in the beginning. I really wish I could do more for you guys.

SKRCY NCO Batch 16/17; thanks for everything for every blood and sweat you shed, you have laid foundations for the juniors to work on. But then again, we have a lot more needs to be done. VI or not, SKRCY will welcome you in with open arms as long as you have the heart to serve. For now, focus on your studies and take flight! . . RCY has been a big influences in my life ever since I got into RCY which I used to call a 'CCA'. Honestly I wasn't give a choice to be in this. I hated training and wasn't the best cadet you would have as an NCO. But I have always wondered what would happen. If I didn't gave RCY a try and left. What would my life be? Will I be who am I now? Will I be still the nurse today? I'm not very sure. But I'm glad I made the correct decision to choose to stay on. Because I got to know some of my closest friends and the bonds I forge with every single cadet I meet. From a rebellious cadet to being VI and an aspiring nurse. From the one being mentored and now mentoring tons of cadets and junior VIs. It has been a long journey and definitely it was not as smooth as always. But I hope I continue to carry on doing this for as long as I can. Even if my priorities have shift a little due to being a working adult (soon). But I hope still can do more for my cadets and my junior VIs so they can have the same memorable experience I once had as a cadet or as junior VI. Hence this is my #RCWHY #wrcd2017 #toleadwithpride . . . . . . PS. My advice to those who don't really like Red Cross and those who are having second thoughts about join us as a VI. Don't be afraid just give it a try. It will be definitely a life changing experience!
