â Secrets.
â Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x Reader
All characters are adults 18+. MDNI
"So, are you two dating?" Mina asked, chin resting on her hands as she scrutinized you both, eye almost twitching as she waited for you to answer.
"Mina, you asked us that ten minutes ago," You tilted your head, returning her gaze, "and I told you we aren't."
"Are you sure though?" She leans forward, head halfway shoved into your space, "Maybe you two might be dating but haven't realised it yet."
"How many drinks did you have, Pinky?" Bakugou groaned from beside you, one hand on your back, thumb rubbing circles on the skin peeking out, other hand twirling a glass of whiskey. "Maybe you should call your boyfriend over, Oi! Shitty haiâ"
Mina abruptly stands up, walking away from the table, plopping down on the couch farthest away and glaring daggers at him. Apparently he isn't the only one with 'secret' relationship.
You let out a chuckle, turning towards him slightly, "You didn't have to do her dirty like that." Eyeing the whiskey in his glass as you play with you empty one.
"An eye for an eye, sweetheart," He rasped, bringing his glass to your lips, "It's bitter compared to your sugary concoction." His gaze is fixed on your lips, gloss smearing on his glass as you take a gulp, eyes tracing the bobbing of your throat as you swallow.
The burn is what you register first, then the bitter aftertaste, from the tip of your tongue to the back of you throat, "It's so bitter." You wince, leaning back to look at him again, "How do you handle that?"
Your question knocks Bakugou out of his trance, heart melting at the adorable scrunch of your nose, "I have a sweet antidote, I suppose." He leaned in, his glass abandoned on the table, "I can give it to you if you want." He is close enough for you to feel his breath fanning on your cheek.
"I feel like this sweet antidote is sweet for you only," You mumbled, looking at him through your lashes, "I'll be getting another mouth full of bitter whiskey."
You place a hand on his shoulder, letting him tower over you. "Mouth full might be an exaggeration, unless you are talking about myâ"
His words are cut off by your lips, pressing against his own, his hands immediately reach for you, pulling you closer. Your fingers tangle in his hairs, causing him to groan, his tongue slips out exploring your mouth.
He grunts against your lips, hand cupping your face, before he pulls away, "You want to go back home?" He asked, eyes silently begging you to agree.
You huff a laugh, nodding your head, Bakugou immediately gets up helping you stand up as well, gathering your stuff and rushing out the door.

âââ ËđĽ¤ Ě !! Bakugo vs. The Straw
â. đ Ë || katsuki bakugo x reader, pure fluff
Five years after U.A., and somehow, you and Bakugo were still, well, you and Bakugo. Older, busier, slightly more responsible, but still arguing over the dumbest things known to mankind. Heâs a Pro Hero now, and yoouâre still you, camera always out, documenting everything like youâre afraid time might forget him if you donât.
There are photos of him everywhere. Not that heâd ever admit he secretly likes it.
Him half-asleep on the couch after patrol. Him in the kitchen, hair a mess, frying pan in hand. Him squinting at your phone like it offended him. Him glaring into the camera while secretly trying not to smile.
Bakugo doesnât really complain anymore, not since that one time he caught you rewatching old clips with this soft little smile like the world wasnât ending for once. That did him in. So now, he lets you. He scowls, grumbles, but lets you.
Tonight, you finally convinced him to order takeout, an act of divine mercy considering he swears takeout is a arbage thatâll rot your damn insides.
You had to pout. Big eyes, small voice, please, Katsuki, I miss eating Takeouts.
âTch. Fine. But next time Iâm cookinâ, got it?â
You agreed, of course. You always do.
So now, the two of you sit on the couch, containers spread out, your phone propped against a tissue box, recording as usual.
âOkay, okay,â you say into the camera, grinning. âHistoric event, everyone. Bakugo Katsuki willingly eats takeout for the first time in, what is it, a month?â
He scoffs without looking up. âTwo. And donât act like this is a damn celebration.â
âIt is a celebration,â you insist, poking his shoulder. âLook at you, being normal and human.â
âKeep talkinâ and Iâll feed you the box instead,â he mutters, but thereâs a twitch in his mouth that betrays him.
You giggle, reaching for the drink, the single, massive cup you both agreed to share. Itâs part of the tradition now: one drink, one straw. Always.
He takes the first sip, passing it to you without looking, too focused on his food. You take it, then, before bringing it to your lips, you grab a napkin and start wiping the straw.
Slowly. Meticulously.
Bakugo freezes mid-bite. âThe hell are you doinâ?â
âJust cleaning it,â you say innocently, pretending not to notice the vein popping on his forehead.
He squints. âWe literally suck each other's mouth every day, dumbass.â
âExactly,â you hum, dabbing the straw again, âand thatâs totally different.â
He blinks at you. âHow the hell is that different?!â
You shrug, fighting back a grin. âDifferent context.â
For a solid three seconds, he just stares at you like youâve just offended him on the deepest, most personal level imaginable. Then he drops his chopsticks with a loud clack.
âYouâre lucky youâre cute,â he mutters, grabbing the drink right out of your hand.
âWaitâ!â
Before you can stop him, he takes a long, obnoxious sip, eyes locked on yours. Then, with a smirk thatâs all smug victory, he leans forward until the straw is pressed right against your lips.
âGo on,â he says lowly, voice dipped in challenge. âItâs clean now, right?â
You glare, but your heartâs beating too loud to sound convincing. âYouâre such a child.â
âYeah?â he murmurs, grin widening. âGuess that makes you the idiot dating one.â
You push him lightly, cheeks warm, but he just laughs, this soft, husky sound that still hits you like itâs the first time.
You try to act normal, chewing your food, but heâs still looking at you, with that look.
The one thatâs half Iâm gonna tease you forever and half you have no idea how gone I am for you.
He catches you sneaking a glance and smirks, mouth full. âDonât even start. Youâre the one who wiped the damn straw.â
âIt was for science,â you mutter.
âOh yeah?â He raises a brow. âWhatâs the conclusion, genius?â
âThat youâre gross.â
He scoffs, leaning back against the couch. âGross, huh? Tell that to the version of you that drools on my chest when you sleep.â
You gasp, eyes wide. âKatsuki!â
âWhat?â he says, feigning innocence as he reaches for another fry. âItâs true. Iâve got evidence.â
You launch a pillow at him, which he catches easily, smirking. âAw, donât pout, sweetheart,â he teases, voice turning softer, just enough to make your stomach twist. âYouâre cute when youâre mad.â
You roll your eyes, trying to hide your grin. âYouâre infuriating.â
He hums, reaching out to tug lightly at a strand of your hair. âAnd youâre stuck with me.â
You look at him, really look, and realize heâs not just joking. His eyes are warm, steady. Thereâs a quiet tenderness there that you never quite get used to.
Later, when you watch the video back, you notice it again, the way he looks at you when youâre not paying attention. The way his eyes soften, like youâre still the best damn thing heâs ever fought for.
And when he finds you grinning at the clip, he snorts. âDonât post that shit.â
You grin wider. âToo late.â
âTch.â He sighs, stealing another fry and muttering under his breath, âYouâre lucky I love you, idiot.â
You pretend not to hear it. But your camera does.
The press never stopped asking. t didnât matter if it was after a mission, a press conference, or when he was just trying to walk down the goddamn street, microphones always seemed to find his face. And they always asked the same thing.
âDynamight! Any truth to the rumor youâre dating?â
âIs there a special someone in your life right now?â
âCare to comment on whether Dynamight is taken?â
Katsuki Bakugoâs answer was always the same , sharp, loud and absolute.
âWhy the hell would you need to know?â
âNone of your damn business.â
âQuit askinâ stupid questions and talk about the work.â
The media spun it however they wanted: Dynamight, fiercely single. Dynamight, too angry for love. Dynamight, dedicated only to his career.
And Bakugo let them. Because announcing it wasnât his style. He didnât need the worldâs validation, didnât need headlines to confirm what he already knew when he went home at night when you were waiting.
You didnât demand a label. He didnât give one. You were his. That was all that mattered.
The world figured it out by accident.
An award ceremony, one he didnât even want to attend. He hated those red carpets, hated the cameras, hated the shallow smile of the whole spectacle. But you were invited, too, recognized for your work in medical research, your innovations that had saved more heroes than anyone could count. And the thought of you walking through flashing lights alone made his stomach twist.
So he went.
He didnât walk beside you at first not until the cameras started flashing, too bright, too invasive, catching the cut of your dress, the slope of your shoulders.
Thatâs when his hand found the small of your back. Firm.
The photographers nearly lost their minds.
âDynamight, who is thisââ
âAre you two togetherââ
âWhen did this startââ
He didnât answer. He didnât need to. His glare was sharp enough to cut their lenses in half, and the low growl in his throat made it clear: push further, and heâd happily blast their mics to ash.
You tilted your head toward him, murmuring under your breath, âYou know you just told the whole world, right?â
âTch.â His hand tightened at your waist, guiding you past the chaos. âDonât give a shit what they know. Let âem choke on it.â
Inside, under the low light of chandeliers, he finally exhaled. Away from the flashbulbs, away from the noise.
âYou didnât have to do that,â you whispered, brushing your fingers over his wrist.
âYeah, I did,â he muttered, jaw tight. âIâm not lettinâ them look at you like youâreââ He cut himself off, scowling. âYouâre mine. Thatâs it. They donât get a say.â
Your laugh was soft, cutting through the static still buzzing in his chest. âYou realize you just made your relationship debut without saying a word?â
âGood,â he said gruffly. âI donât need to announce shit. Theyâll figure it out when they see me exactly where I wanna be. Which is here. With you.â
And that was how the world learned Dynamight was not, in fact, too angry for love. He just loved too fiercely to let anyone else touch it.
Katsuki canât help but brag about you to his mother.
Mitsuki Bakugo had always known her son wasnât the type to talk about people, at least not fondly. Katsuki talked about extras, rivals, idiots, villains. He shouted about training regimens, about half-assed heroes, about All Might. But people? He didnât bother with them.
And then came you.
A doctor. Not just any doctor, but a genius who worked behind the scenes, patching up Pro Heroes with that unyielding calm that Bakugo never managed to master himself. You werenât loud, you werenât flashy, but somehow you had wormed your way into his chest, and the proof was in his voice, the way it wouldnât shut up about you.
Mitsuki knew the moment she heard his tone change. It started with the phone calls.
âYeah, sheâs busy as hell, but you should see her work, nobodyâs sharper than her. Damn nerds from med school canât even touch her.â
âDonât roll your eyes at me, Iâm not exaggerating, she stitched me up after a fight with a Nomu in record time. Record. Fuckinâ. Time.â
And once, Mitsuki swore she heard the faintest thing she never expected: pride.
âShe doesnât just fix me up. Sheâs the reason I get back on the field faster than anyone else. Like hell Iâd let her overwork herself, though I drop by her clinic when I can. Youâd like her, hag. Sheâs⌠sheâs incredible.â
So when you finally met her, Mitsuki wasnât surprised.
You had that quiet confidence that made people sit up straighter, not because you demanded it, but because you carried yourself like someone who knew her worth. You werenât intimidated by Bakugoâs volume, and you certainly werenât charmed into silence by his temper. No, you met him head-on, and Mitsuki could tell.
At the dinner table, it was almost comical.
âYou didnât tell me she was this gorgeous, Katsuki,â Mitsuki teased, sipping her wine, eyeing the way you politely smiled.
âShut the hell upââ
âNo, really. I thought you were exaggerating, butââ
âI donât exaggerate,â Bakugo snapped, his face turning a dangerous shade of red. He reached for his glass of water like it might drown him. âI said she was perfect âcause she is. Donât twist my words, old hag.â
You nearly choked on your drink, laughter spilling out before you could stop it. Mitsuki caught it, the way your gaze softened when it landed on her son. And she caught his too, how he looked at you like heâd been caught in the act of being human.
After dinner, Mitsuki cornered him in the kitchen while you helped clean the table.
âYou werenât lying,â she said simply, crossing her arms. âSheâs the one, huh?â
âTchâdonât start with me,â he muttered, but there was no venom in it. His shoulders were tense, his hands shoved into his pockets like he had nowhere to put the truth. âSheâs it. The fuck do you want me to say? That I got lucky? That I donât deserve her? âCause I know all that already.â
Mitsuki blinked, taken aback, not by the words, but by the rawness. Her son, who spent his life blasting away vulnerability with fire and fury, finally stripped bare.
âKatsukiâŚâ she said softly. âYou donât shut up about her. That tells me everything.â
When you came back into the room, you caught the tail end of Mitsukiâs smirk, and Katsukiâs scowl.
âDonât you dareââ
âOh, Iâm saying it,â Mitsuki said smugly. âHe never shuts up about you. Calls me just to rant about how brilliant you are. Swears up and down that no one compares. I practically knew you before meeting you.â
Your cheeks burned, and Bakugoâs ears turned scarlet. He reached for your wrist, tugging you closer with a low growl.
âDonât listen to her. Sheâs full of shit.â
But when you met his eyes, you saw it, the unspoken confession, the weight of all the times heâd bragged about you without hesitation. And you couldnât help it. You smiled.
âYou brag about me?â
ââŚShut up,â he muttered, burying his face against your shoulder. His voice, muffled, gave him away. âOf course I fuckinâ do.â

âââ Ëđ Ě !! Interrupted in the Best Way
â. đ Ë || katsuki bakugo x reader, pure fluff
Youâve always been the talker. Your friends joke that you could narrate your way through a silent film without missing a single detail, and Katsuki, your boyfriend, the ever-short-tempered, sharp-tongued pro hero endures it with that particular brand of gruff patience only he seems capable of.
Right now, youâre sitting with him on the couch after dinner. Your legs are tucked under you, hands waving animatedly as you recount something that happened earlier at the grocery store, something about a kid dropping his ice cream, the heroic attempt of the store clerk to save it, and how it reminded you of a scene in a movie. Youâre halfway through explaining the dramatic slow motion in your head when Katsuki suddenly leans over and presses his mouth to yours.
Your words die instantly, caught between the press of his lips and the startled widening of your eyes.
When he pulls back, he glares at you like youâve just said something stupid. âYou talk too damn much sometimes.â
You blink at him, caught between indignation and the heat climbing up your neck. âExcuse me?! I was literally making a very valid point about how the ice cream couldâve beenââ
âShut up.â He grabs the back of your neck, pulling you back in, kissing you slower this time, deeper. It melts the rest of your sentence right out of you, leaving only the warmth of his mouth, the rasp of his breath, the solid weight of his hand keeping you in place.
By the time he pulls away again, your brain is a mess of unfinished words and scrambled thoughts. You stare at him, wide-eyed. âYou canât justâjust interrupt me like that! Thatâs cheating!â
âTch.â He smirks, leaning back into the couch with a lazy sort of arrogance. âCheating, my ass. You never shut up. Thought Iâd give myself a break before you talked me into a damn coma.â
You swat his arm, scowling, though you canât quite wipe the smile off your face. âYouâre the worst.â
His hand finds yours anyway, tugging it into his lap, thumb brushing over your knuckles with a softness that doesnât match his scowl. His voice drops, quieter now, almost grudging: âBut⌠I like it. Your dumb stories. Your voice.â His eyes flick toward you, sharp but steady. âDonât stop. Just⌠sometimes I gotta remind you to shut up so I can kiss you, got it?â
Your chest does that fluttery thing youâll never admit to him. You huff, rolling your eyes to cover it up. âYouâre ridiculous.â
âYeah, and youâre mine. So deal with it.â
You end up laughing, head falling against his shoulder, the words you wanted to say completely forgotten replaced by the quiet warmth of him pressing a kiss to your temple like itâs second nature.
âââ Ëđ Ě !! First Kiss
â. đ Ë || katsuki bakugo x reader, pure fluff
It happened when you were ten.
A scorching summer afternoon. The smell of cut grass, and you, Katsuki, and Izuku tearing across your backyard in a chaotic game of tag. Bakugo was âit,â and you were sprinting across the grass like your life depended on it. You turned a sharp corner around a tree, and Katsuki, reckless and charging like a mini landmine, crashed into you at full speed.
You both fellâhard. There was a shout, a thud, and thenâ
Mouth. To. Mouth.
It was clumsy, instant, entirely accidentalâbut your lips had touched. His were dry from running. Yours were trembling from shock. Time stopped. The world paused.
But it happened.
You both shot up, faces red.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" he screamed, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand aggressively, like he just swallowed a spider.
"You ran into me!" you screeched back, flailing like your whole soul had short-circuited. âGross!!â
From a safe distance behind the fence, a little green-haired Izuku Midoriya stood frozen with wide, horrified eyes, like heâd just witnessed a crime.
None of you ever talked about it again. Sworn into silence by childhood embarrassment and unspoken shame.
Fast forward to nowâthird year at UA.
The Bakusquad was lounging aroundâMina was painting her nails pink and obnoiously sparkly, Sero and Kaminari were trading dumb memes, Kiri was mid-laughing at something, and you were comfortably curled up in the corner couch reading a book, legs slung over the armrest. Katsuki had taken the beanbag near you, grumbling about something dumb that probably didnât matter.
The topic turned to first kissesâbecause Mina always gets bored and starts chaos when itâs too quiet.
âSo, who hereâs had their first kiss?â she grinned, eyes gleaming like a gossip shark.
Kaminari raised a hand. âMiddle school. Spin the bottle. Super lameâher lips were like sandpaper.â
âEw,â Sero deadpanned.
Kirishima chuckled. âMine was second year. It was kinda awesome, not gonna lie.â
Everyone turned toward Bakugo like bloodhounds. âWhat about you Dynamight?â Mina turned, eyes narrowing with devilish intent.
Katsuki didnât look up from the protein bar he was munching on. âNot tellinâ.â
"Oh come on,â Kaminari groaned. âYou seriously telling me someone kissed you and lived to tell the tale?â
âBet he growled the whole time,â Sero snorted.
âYouâre so full of shit,â Bakugo scoffed, arms crossed and already annoyed.
âWait, wait, waitâare you saying youâve actually kissed someone?â Kaminari leaned forward, absolutely invested.
âThatâs confidential, electric dumbass.â
âSo youâre dodging. Meaning no kiss.â
âI didnât say that.â
âAwww câmonnn,â Kaminari whined, nudging him with a pillow. âBet no one even wants to kiss your grumpy ass!â
âYeah, whoâd willingly kiss someone with murder in their eyes 24/7?â Sero snorted.
Katsuki looked up slowly. âYou sure about that?â
That shut everyone up.
Your eyes didnât leave your book, but your fingers stiffened just a little on the page.
Mina practically flew off the couch. âYOUâRE LYING. WHO? WHO KISSED THIS BOMB GREMLIN?â
He tilted his chin toward youâjust slightly. âWouldnât you like to know?â
âYou... you donât meanââ she started, eyes darting between you and Bakugo.
âNOPE,â you said loudly, trying to bury your face in your book like it was a bunker. âWeâre not doing this.â
âWhat arenât we doing?â Mina blinked.
Izuku, who had been suspiciously quiet, suddenly choked on his drink.
Bakugo smirked. âIt counts, dumbasses. Doesnât matter if it was seven years ago.â
âWHAT?!â
âHUH?!â
âWHAT DO YOU MEAN SEVEN YEARS AGO??â
Kaminari practically fell off the couch. Sero started howling with laughter. Minaâs jaw was on the floor.
âYou kissed someone when you were ten?â Kirishima gasped, absolutely gobsmacked.
âIt was an accident!â you shrieked. âWe were children! We were playing tag and he literally tackled meââ
âLanded on her face,â Bakugo added casually, like he wasnât the center of a social apocalypse.
âYou remember?!â you accused, throwing your book at him. He caught it one-handed and chuckled.
âYou never forget your first,â he said smugly.
âIZUKU,â Mina suddenly turned. âYOU KNOW SOMETHING DONâT YOU.â
Izuku just sat there, trembling, whispering, âI saw it. I saw it happen.â
Kaminari hit the floor laughing. Kirishima doubled over and Mina screamed. You wished the couch would swallow you whole.
And Bakugo? He leaned back against the beanbag like he was a king on his throne.
âBet none of you extras had your first kiss with someone as badass as me.â
âYOU TACKLED HER INTO IT.â
âStill counts.â
Chaos. Absolute, explosive chaos.
And from that day forward, you couldnât look at your childhood tag partner without seeing ten-year-old him screaming in your face while your lips still tingled with shock.
Bakugo never let you live it down.
And Izuku? He still has flashbacks.

Boyfriend no.1
You rarely ever prank Bakugou, knowing that half the time he'll figure things out and other half he wouldn't be affected, but sometimes, sometimes there is an itch in your soul that forces you to torment your beloved boyfriend, and today is one of those days.
The live had been on for few minutes now, Bakugou knew it too, he was preparing breakfast in the background while you got ready.
"I didn't try that highlighter yet, maybe when I am planning a new look." You replied to one of the comments, trying to remain as nonchalant as possible. "Yeah, that's my boyfriend no.1 in the back-"
The sound on metal clashing cuts your words, behind you Bakugou is visible, completely static as he glares at you, nostrils flared, breathing heavily.
"What did you just call me?" He grunts, towering over your figure, as he places his arms beside you, locking you between himself and the table.
"I was just introducing yo-"
"Yeah I know, but what did you address me as?"
"Boyfriend no.1..." You voice fades away as you admit, you hunch forward not because you are afraid of him, he'll blow himself up before he lays a hand on you. "It's true, I mean, I never dated anyone before you." You try to explain, try to say your ass.
He narrows his eyes, hand coming you grab your jaw, "Better put an 'only' in there too, sweetheart." His voice is soft, fingers flexing enough to cause puckering of your lips, he leans down, pressing his lips messily against yours. "You aren't dating anyone after me either."
You are pulled out of your daze, by the vibration of your phone, comments going wild as you finally read them, lips still tingling, head still spinning.
đ˝Queen: Gurlll, you are going to get your ass beat one day!!!
ChargeâĄ: Please don't ever let him find out it was a prank

pro-hero!katsuki who is so annoyingly perfect.
he's smart as hell, somehow good at everything, hot as fuck and knows it, one of the best heroes alive and has never been out of japan's top 15âand to top it all off, he's the motherfucker that ended all for one at seventeen fucking years old. he's the great explosion murder god dynamight, and if he was any bit humble about it, the world would love and hate him just a little more.
but no. he's crass, foul-mouthed, short-tempered and intense with an ego that made up most of his tall, muscular stature. so even with the many outbursts of his that the world has witnessed, everyone can rest well knowing that he's still flawed. that ah, one of the greatest heroes in existence has an unfixable personality problem. thank god.
surely there's no way anyone could ever tolerate that personality enough, right? right?
pro-hero!katsuki who secretly married the love of his life not too long after graduating from ua, and quietly welcomed a daughter in his mid-twenties.

it happened on a quiet wednesday evening. you were curled up on the couch, legs in katsuki's lap while some mindless documentary played on the tv. he was watching you silently, his thumb making small circles on your calf.
the words were so quiet you almost missed them. his voice, low and rough, cut through the silence like scissors on paper.

Bakugo manspreads on purpose so you can sit on him btw.
You canât even remeber the last time you sat on an actual chair when heâs around.
This bitch is always plotting on you and it makes you sick LMAO.
Bakugo loves LOVES your body on top of him. Youâre not heavy to him at all, just like his own personal plushie to hold
And if youâre a bigger girl, even better. He likes the weight on him.
It really is attractive though, he even tries to make himself look more inviting by subtly doing the hip adjustment move whenever you look at him.
Some days heâll even sit obnoxiously on the huge wide couch and move stuff around so the only area you have is his lap.
Like now.
âReally.â
His little smug ass smirk while his arms are spread just as wide as his legs makes you pop your hip out and scoff, âShould I sit on the floor orâŚ?â
Bakugo doesnât speak, but takes your waist and guides you down on your rightful throne: his lap.
HOWEVERRâŚitâs quite difficult to enjoy your sweet treat after dinner on his lap when you feel something firm against your lower back.
âYouâre kiddingâŚ.â Your voice flattened at him, hips stiffened already knowing what is uncomfortably laying against you from behind, âWhy are you hard?â
Bakugo doesnât respond, purposefully ignoring you while doomscrolling on his phone, he just shrugs making you put your bowl down on the coffee table in annoyance. He really didnât mean to get turned on by your soft ass against him, but he couldnât help but notice how your body jerked whenever he would tell you something directly in your ear.
And he definitely wouldnât do that on purpose knowing your sweet spot is on your ear, no no.
Like right now the way he ignores your complaints about his hard dick and starts to kiss your neck and your cheek, no way he wouldnât be doing it to shut you up.
And the way how his tongue quickly licks the shell of your ear before he kisses behind it, pulling you closer when that sweet little noise slip out your mouth, no way heâd do that to calm you down.
Nuh uh, he wouldnât dare take advantage of the situation to assist grinding you against him for a makeout session.
No way, Bakugo would stoop that low at all, because he loves having you sit on his lap.
Or so you try to think.
ꎟ TOUCH ME, TOUCH ME, TOUCH ME !
cw: men who yearn, physical affection, kissing, soft bakugo, muscles described, kissing, swearing, & not proofread
â Featuring Bakugo initiating affection doesn't happen often, so when it does, you should keep it going.
Waiting up for Katsuki is kind of like playing around with a claw machine. You never really know what you're going to get.
It could be a prize you'll cherish forever. Like a kiss, an invite to shower together, a moment of weakness, or the rarest of all. When he falls into bed next to you and sleeps it off on your chest.
But it also has the possibility of getting nothing but a tired grunt while downing a bottle of water or just falling into bed without a word.
But no matter what he does, it's always worth it. He'll never push you away if you initiate affection, letting you rake your fingers through his hair & sleepily attaching.
"Honey?" You rasped, glancing over your shoulder at the feeling of Katsuki pressing his chest flat against your back. "What are you doing?"
He got home later than normal, looked unkempt & told you to go ahead and go to sleep while he showered.
"Nothing," Kats mumbled, eyes visibly tired, as he wrapped his arms tightly around you. hauling you close enough to tuck his face into the crook of your neck and press a soft kiss there.
"Baby. I'm trying to sleep." You mused, bringing up a hand to lightly tug at his blond strands.
"Hey. Shut up. I'm trying to get comfortable." He hissed, nipping at your cheek as he rubbed your stomach slowly. "Didn't mean to wake you. Just wanted to hold ya' tonight."
A soft sigh escaped your lips as you rolled over to press your chest firmly against his bare chest. "Hadn't fallen asleep yet; don't worry."
You pressed a quick kiss to his cheek before tenderly tracing the scar there, watching in delight as the blush spread across Katsuki's cheeks.
"You're such a nerd sometimes." He huffed, grasping your hips & rubbing the soft skin slowly. "Not fair, I'm tired, no. Sleep-deprived."
"Long night?" You whispered, quickly pulling the blanket over his bare back, your fingertips lingering on his toned biceps before dragging up to tangle in his damp blond hair.
He always had this look in his eye after an annoyingly long night patrol, but tonight it just looked somber.
"You could say that, yeah." He admitted, leaning into your touch just a little, a contented sigh escaping his lips. "It's been a long, long night, honestly."
"Do you want to talk about it?" You whispered, trying to soothe him, sliding your hands to rest comfortably on his chest. "I don't mind staying up longer."
"No. No, not tonight." He shook his head before tucking you under his chin, moving to rub your shoulder gently. "I just want to hold you right now, if that's alright?"
It was your turn to blush, letting out a quick gasp at his warm chest pressing against your face before nodding quickly. "That's fine, baby; we can just sleep too."
đ§đ¨đđ : rewrote my favorite Bakugo fic to celebrate 12k. original.
Cuddling with Katsukiâs like cuddling with an oven.
Thanks to his quirk, his bodyâs constantly warm, always radiating heat.
Normally, it doesnât bother you. If anything, you love it. Itâs like having a heated blanket that grumbles when you steal his warmth.
But now itâs the middle of summer.
And your ACâs broken.
The apartment feels miserable, thick with heat that clings to your skin no matter where you stand or what you do.
You finish your nightly routine, already sweating a little as you flop down into the bed with little to nothing on.
You spread yourself across your side like a starfish, refusing to move in hopes the little fan pointed directly at you can work some kind of miracle.
Katsuki walks in a minute later, towel draped around his neck as he dries his damp hair, âYou alive?â
âBarelyâ
He snorts, âYouâll live.â
He climbs in next to you, giving you a goodnight peck, then immediately goes to spoon you.
You huff loudly, pushing him away from you with a pathetic whine, âtoo hotâ
He frowns, sitting upright immediately, âWhat the fuck?â
You raise an eyebrow, â..What?â
âYou got another man?â he blurts, already wearing the worldâs nastiest scowl, âWhy donât you wanna cuddle?â
You canât help the laugh that slips out at that, âKatsuki, itâs too hot!â
His eyebrows furrow tightly, huffing air out of his nose. He flops back down angrily, turning his back to you with a pissy little hmph.
You simply roll your eyes and scooch back over to your side.
Exactly twelve seconds pass before he rolls back over, âI canât sleep like this!â
âYouâll liveâ you mock, shooting him a sarcastic smile.
âSo you hate me and think iâm a disgusting freak? Got itâ he practically hisses, frowning so hard it almost looks painful
âYouâre being so dramaticâ, you laugh, âI just want to sleep comfortablyâ
âWell I wanna cuddle my girl, dammitâ
âIâm already sweating!â
A few seconds pass where heâs staring at you real hard while you pretend to not notice, then he suddenly grabs his phone.
âIâm calling icy-hot to come cool this place downâ he barks, already calling poor Shoto.
âKats-â
âAnd weâre getting a new AC tomorrowâ he interrupts, âIâm not dealing with none of this âtoo hot to cuddleâ bullshitâ he mutters
You canât help the little smile that tugs at your lips.
For being a huge grump, heâs such a baby.
An hour later, after a very amused Shoto cools the apartment down, Katsukiâs practically glued to your side.
âThere,â he mutters into your neck, ânow quit whiningâ
ââââââââââââââââââââââââ
A/N: based off last night where my heater of a man was pissy I didnât wanna cuddle
Bakugou x pregnant reader
Bakugou forgets his lunch, and his pregnant partner brings it to him
ââŚShit.â
Kirishima laughed from across the room. âDude, you okay?â
âTch. Forgot my damn lunch,â Bakugou growled, arms crossed. He could already imagine you at home, probably resting like he told you to do. He pulled his phone out, ready to text you donât worry about it, when the door of his office slid open.
And there you were.
Waddling. Clearly pregnant. Holding his lunch bag.
Bakugouâs brain completely short-circuited.
ââŚWhat the hell are you doing here?â he snapped, already out of his seat, panic replacing irritation.
You smiled up at him, one hand on your lower back. âHi, baby.â
âWhy are you here?!â he hissed, hands hovering like he didnât know whether to grab the bag or support you. âYouâre supposed to be resting!â
You blinked at him, confused. âYou forgot your lunch, so I brought it. Iâm fine, Katsuki.â
He stared. âYou walked all the way here?!â
âI waddled,â you corrected gently, amused. âBaby, Iâm fine, itâs good exercise and I just couldnât let you go hungry.â
Bakugou took the bag like it was fragile and then immediately put a hand on your arm.
âThanks, babe, but I couldâve bought somethinâ. You didnât need to come all this way.â
Your expression fell just a little.
ââŚOh.â
Uh-oh.
Bakugou saw your lips tremble, eyes getting glassy, and immediately panicked harder.
âYou wouldnât eat the food I made you,â you sniffed, hugging your belly.
âWhatâno!â he barked instantly. âOf course I would! The hell are you talkinâ about?â
You wiped at your eye, voice small. âYou said you couldâve bought something.â
He froze, then groaned, rubbing his face. âThatâs notâdammit, thatâs not what I meant.â
You sniffed again. âI just wanted to take care of you.â
Bakugou dropped his voice, crouching a little so he was eye-level with you. âHey. Hey. I love that you made this. I just didnât want you pushinâ yourself.â
You looked up at him. ââŚYouâre not mad?â
âNo,â he said immediately. âIâm grateful. And worried. And Iâm eatinâ every damn bite.â
Your face brightened instantly, like a switch flipped.
A smile bloomed. âYouâre welcome.â
He huffed, pressing a kiss to your forehead despite being in the hallway. âYouâre impossible.â
âYou love me.â
âTch. Yeah yeah .â
He walked you back toward the exit, one protective hand hovering near your back. âIâm callinâ a driver next time.â
You gasped. âKatsuki!â
âNot arguable.â
Later that evening, you were in the kitchen making yourself a snack something sweet and salty when the front door opened.
âIâm home,â Bakugou called.
Before you could answer, he was already behind you, arms carefully wrapping around your waist, lips pressing a gentle kiss to your cheek.
âHow was your day?â he asked, softer than heâd ever sound to anyone else.
You leaned into him. âGood. The baby was very active.â
âTch. Figures,â he muttered fondly, resting his chin on your shoulder. âThanks again for the lunch. Best damn meal Iâve had all week.â
You smiled, warm and content. âYouâre welcome.â
He squeezed you just a little. âNow sit down. Iâll finish that snack.â
âBossy.â
âProtective,â he corrected.
And somehow, with him behind you and your baby safe between you, everything felt perfect.

SOMEWHERE AMONG
synopsis: somewhere among all the little moments, it becomes very apparent to various people in his life that katsuki bakugo is in love with you. (aka when they realize and know that he's so incredibly gone.)
notes: YAYYY more unofficialbf!katsuki !! 3.5k wc. childhood friends to lovers (?) but no real confession or establishment of relationship. so like childhood friends to unofficial lovers. N E WAYS the concept is like. childhood vs now: when people realize he loves you sorta. or at least that's what i wanted originally but at some point i was just writing like idek man. not well-proofread so there are probs lots of errors n mistakes w the flow im sorry. first longer piece in a min w my writing hiatus and all so im a bit rusty but i hope yall enjoy!!
mitsuki knows before anyone else does.
maybe thatâs just how moms are. sharp-eyed and a little nosy, always paying more attention than they let on. but really, youâd have to be blind not to notice the way katsukiâs whole damn world orbits around you, even at the tender young age of four.
the first time he declares youâre his, youâve got dandelions in your hands and dirt on your knees, and heâs stomping around the backyard like he just won a damn olympic gold medal, screaming, âshe said yes!! she's mine now!! hell yeahhhh!â
she snorts into her coffee, watching from the kitchen window.
you follow him around like a tiny shadow. he grabs your hand so tight it makes her raise an eyebrow, your little hand crushed into a position that must be painful, but you donât complain. you just smile, swing your arms with his, and look at him like heâs your whole world.
(itâs the same way he looks at you.)
she keeps the photos. of course she does.
photos of you passed out on the couch together, little heads squished side by side. photos of you tangled in blankets during movie nights. photos of you curled up under katsukiâs arm, his little hand resting on your knee like it belongs there.
because, she thinks, maybe it does.
by the time you both hit middle school, mitsukiâs fully accepted that youâre going to be her legal family someday. she calls you that often. "my future daughter-in-law," "my sweetheart," "my precious y/n-chan.â it's half because she means it and half just to piss katsuki off.
it works every time. he turns bright red. stomps around the kitchen shouting, âshut up, old hag!!â while you giggle behind your hand. she only laughs and hands you more food.
she always makes extra when she knows youâre coming over. which is... pretty much every day.
he complains. boy, he complains. âwhy do you treat her better than me? iâm your kid!â
she shrugs. âyeah, and she's my favorite.â
the way he scowls is almost too easy.
but the truth is that sheâs proud of him. of the way heâs gentle with you, even when heâs sharp with everyone else. the way he carries your bag without thinking, pulls you close when he thinks no oneâs watching, the way his hands shake when you get hurt and he pretends they donât. the way he's learned to love.
she sees the softness he hides so visibly. she is his mom, after all.
-
it's break, so you two are back home and not in the dorms. of course, she still isn't seeing very much of him, seeing as he spends every waking moment of his time with you. she hears him before she sees him come home, stomping up the stairs like a damn elephant. his voice is low, not yelling for once.
âquit squirmin', youâre gonna fall.â
"'s cause you didn't give me any warning before you picked me up! what am i, a sack of rice?â
âyeah, âcause youâre too damn stubborn to admit youâre tired.â
"as if you do?!"
"tch."
she peeks out of and sees you in his arms, head on his shoulder, eyes fluttering shut while he carries you to his room like itâs the most natural thing in the world.
he doesnât even notice her watching.
not until he comes back down a few hours later, shirt rumpled, hair a mess, looking like he just got hit by the best nap of his life and a truck named feelings. (puke)
she leans against the counter. raises an eyebrow. âso, whenâs the wedding?â
he groans like she stabbed him. âcan you just not for once?â
ânope,â she says sweetly, tossing him a towel. âyou still sleep next to her every night like itâs not a big deal?â
âshut up.â
âstill let her in your bed but kick that nice redheaded boy out for even looking at it?â
âshut up.â
she smirks. âyou gonna tell her how you feel or am i gonna have to do it for you?â
he looks her dead in the eye.
ââŚyou wouldnât.â
she grins dangerously. katsuki forgets too often that his genes and personality are mainly from her.
âtry me.â
he runs back upstairs.
she laughs to herself, puts the kettle on, and pulls out the old photo album. the one full of pictures he pretends not to care about.
she flips to a page labeled âage 4: katsuki + y/nâ and looks at the photo of you both asleep in a beanbag chair, his arms around you like he was born to protect you.
âstupid boyâs so damn deep in love,â she mutters.
but sheâs not worried. youâll figure it out eventually.
you always do.
izuku knows before katsuki does.
maybe thatâs just how he is, though. observant, over-analytical, always watching "like a damn stalker," as katsuki says. itâs not that katsuki ever told him anything, of course. because he wouldnât. never in a million years.
but izuku doesnât need words to see it. he sees it in the little things.
like the way he practically shields you in crowded hallways, hand on your back, just enough to block anyone who might bump into you. like the way he mutters âdumbassâ every time you trip, even as he reaches out to catch you without thinking. like the way his hands clench at his sides when youâre the slightest bit hurt. like the way he relaxes when you laugh. like your happiness adds years to his life. like loving you has become a reflex engrained in his body.
izuku remembers the way you used to cling to katsuki's side when you were kids. a ray of sunshine with scraped knees and bright eyes, all trust and affection, following the fiery katsuki around like he was gravity. and he remembers the way he used to puff up like it was his job to keep you safe from everything. even the super scary stuff, like wasps and thunderstorms.
izuku's almost always known that 'kacchan's in love with y/n.' he recalls back fondly to a distinct memory in his childhood. theyâre five, maybe six, sitting in the grass by the park, dirtied by playing outside.
-
izukuâs digging in the sandbox, humming to himself, in his own world as per usual, building a castle with just plastic buckets and imagination. he glances over when he hears your laugh. the really bubbly one, the one that sounds like the windchimes his mom puts up when it starts getting warm. he's noticed that that laugh usually comes out a lot more with kacchan.
youâve got a bandaid on your knee and a flower crown crooked on your head, made from dandelions and clovers, and katsuki is sitting in front of you, scowling at a tiny daisy youâre trying to tuck behind his ear.
âhold still,â you giggle, reaching again.
âwhyâre you puttin' weeds on me?â katsuki grumbles as if he hates life, but heâs not pulling away one bit. heâs red in the face, squinting at the sun, fists clenched like he canât decide if he wants to knock the crown off your head or punch something to release his emotion overflow.
he doesnât do either.
he just lets you keep going.
izuku watches as you lean in close, tongue poking out a little in concentration, and katsuki completely freezes, face red and breath held.
heâs not yelling. not barking. not blowing anything up. heâs just⌠staring at you. soft-eyed. stunned.
like someone pressed pause on his whole little brain.
and izuku, tiny and curious and wide-eyed, tilts his head.
he doesnât really know much, or anything, about love. but he knows for sure that kacchan never lets anyone that close.
and he knows kacchan only lets you steal his snacks.
..and his hoodies.
..and his toys.
..and.. him.
and izuku, with sand on his cheeks and a shovel in his hand, watches katsuki blush so hard he falls backwards into the grass, yelling âshut up!!â when you giggle and call him pretty.
and izuku just smiles to himself.
"oh," he thinks, "kacchan's gonna marry y/n one day."
-
now and then, a decade or so later, izuku can still see how hopelessly in love katsuki is with you. youâre sitting on the common room couch. itâs a late night, everyone else mostly gone, the tv playing quietly in the background. youâre curled into katsukiâs side like itâs second nature, his arm slung around your shoulder like a reflex, your fingers tangled with his like neither of you realize youâre doing it.
katsukiâs eyes are closed, head tipped back against the cushions.
but izuku watches as you shift, just slightly, and katsukiâs fingers twitch like they miss your touch before your hand finds his again.
like muscle memory.
like home.
and katsuki has no idea how obvious it is.
he still acts like heâs subtle. acts like heâs got it all under wraps. snaps and scowls like always, but izuku sees how he softens around the edges when youâre near. he sees how katsuki tracks the sound of your voice from across the room. he sees how katsuki smiles at you when youâre not looking.
not smirks. not scoffs.
smiles.
the real kind. the warm kind. the kind izuku didnât know katsuki even had until you brought it out of him.
and now, even a decade later, izuku watches the two of you interact with fond eyes.
"yep," he thinks, "kacchan's gonna marry y/n one day."
masaru knows before katsuki knows too, but there's no surprise there.
what is a bit of a surprise is just how much he knows.
masaru's always been the odd one out in his family. his wife and son are two peas in a pod, after all. explosive, angry, but caring underneath everything. on the other hand, he's quiet, gentle, and very carefully observant. he watches you two interact over the years with more insight than he lets on. he and katsuki don't talk much, but he is his son, and he is the carbon copy of the woman he loves and knows best. katsuki's never talked about his feelings or anything with his dad before, but masaru knows.
he knows when he sees the way you diffuse katsuki's explosiveness, turning him from a bomb seconds away from detonating into a grumbly, blushing mess.
he knows when he sees that his fridge and cabinets are stocked with foods that no one in the bakugo family buys or likes, and he realizes that they're your favorites. and that katsuki must've bought them.
he knows when he sort of sees himself and mitsuki in you and katsuki, and everyone knows how well they've worked out.
-
"jeez, katsuki really should just hurry up and confess to y/n already! i don't know what he's waiting for!" mitsuki huffs one evening when they're chilling on their bed together.
masaru breaks his attention from his book to give her the acknowledgement to keep talking.
"like, seriously! i mean, they've been in love since before katsuki even formed his quirk. the boy shared his sandwiches with her before he could even pronounce the word right!"
"you're right."
"aren't i?! and y/n is such a sweet girl. if katsuki doesn't get his act together soon, someone else will take away my sweet y/n-chan! and you know what? i wouldn't even be mad with them. it'd be katsuki's fault for letting her slip through his fingers."
"mhm,"
"and do you see how good she is with him? she always balances him out and brings out his nicest qualities. qualities that i forget he has until she comes around. she's honestly probably too good for him, but im too attached to her to let go. plus, she somehow loves our boy to bits, too. theyre like yin and yang. sun and moon."
masaru smiles softly. "they kind of remind you of us, don't they?"
mitsuki looks a little surprised at the new insight before smiling softly as well. "you're right."
she slides closer. "and you and i are a pretty damn great couple."
"we sure are."
masaru sleeps that night holding the woman he loves, and he suspects his son is doing the same.
1a knows within just a week or two of watching the two of you interact.
kirishima notices first, having spent the most time with katsuki. it was an evening study session with the three of you. kirishima finds it kind of odd seeing how it took tons of effort for katsuki to let him in but you just showed up and katsuki opened the door for you.
he shakes it off, knowing katsuki can be kind of weird sometimes.
the sheer difference in treatment was ground-shaking. kirishima thought that out of everyone, he was the closest to katsuki. he was the nicest to him.
boy, was he wrong.
while katsuki would beat kirishima up for getting a problem wrong and threaten to blow him up, he would gently teach you in the softest of tones, giving you a "reluctant" (he wanted it so bad) hug when you got frustrated with yourself.
kirishima just sat there, blinking, pen halfway to paper. like, sure, he knew that his explosive friend had a heart. somewhere. deep down. probably in the fiery depths of hell. but this?
this was a fully tamed beast. a completely different person.
âyouâre doin' fine,â katsuki muttered lowly, tugging your worksheet towards himself and redrawing the problem. âlook. see? you almost had it.â
you stared at the page, chewing your lip, frustration written all over your face. katsuki barely hesitated before reaching out and flicking your forehead gently.
âoi. donât get all weird about it. you've got it.â
âyouâre weird,â you mumbled back.
âyeah, and youâre dumb. now shut up and do it again.â
but he sat a little closer.
and he pointed out each part of the equation with his arm against yours, like he couldnât help it. like he didnât even realize he was doing it.
by the time you finished the question right, katsuki grunted and muttered with a slight smile, âtold you. that's my girl.â
you beamed up at him, bright and sunny like he hung the goddamn stars.
he immediately turned away like youâd set him on fire.
holy shit, kirishima thought to himself. he's in love. he's totally in love with her.
-
it wasn't long before the entire class caught on.
youâd show up late to class and katsuki was already moving stuff out of the seat he'd saved for you.
youâd get paired with someone else in group activities and katsuki would mutter the whole time, arms crossed, blowing tiny explosions in his palm like he was restraining himself from starting a war.
youâd laugh at something dumb that kaminari said and katsuki would visibly pout for the next twenty minutes.
every time he held the door open for you, took your plate at dinner, passed you notes during lectures, stared at you during hero strategy lessons like you were an addictive substance he didn't know how to breathe without. everybody knew.
i mean, how could you not? everything about him literally visibly softened when you were in the room. you'd be a fool not to notice how he only ever raised his voice to protect you, never to push you away. how he sat with his arm around the back of your seat every time you watched a movie together. how he never, ever flinched away from your touch, even though he did with everyone else.
iida and ochaco and all of them had sort of learned to steer clear of the two of you when you were alone, courtesy of katsuki's guard dog glare. todoroki and yaoyorozu would conveniently need to share a book and weren't able to sit next to you on the couch when he was walking up, much to katsuki's grunt of approval as he slid in next to you.
of course, some were not as wise, such as the bakusquad, who would poke fun of him every now and then. call him a loverboy and tease him about being soft, shoving pictures they'd taken of a sleeping you cuddled up on him in his face.
but at the end of the day, they know it's not just some silly crush that they can lord over his head. it's love. actual, genuine love that sometimes feels too pure to make fun of. something so precious and real that they feel like they should lay off and give you two some space.
whenever they see you two acting all soft and like an old married couple, their expressions are less mischievous, as if they're thinking about doing something really dumb and embarrassing, but more fond and soft, looking at something so sweet and genuine that they can't help but smile.
you were probably the last to catch on.
it's just that katsuki is so katsuki. he's your best friend. has been for as long as you can remember. of course you love him, but you've been loving him for so long it feels as natural as breathing. it's not some huge revelation or big deal. it barely registers as abnormal because it doesn't feel like one of those exhilarating whirlwind romances you see on tv. it just feels normal. because to you, it is.
you've always fallen asleep on katsuki. always hung out with him one-on-one. always shared snacks. always slept over. always jumped for him knowing he'd catch you.
itâs just⌠him. itâs always been him.
it doesnât hit you all at once. itâs quieter than that.
itâs in the little things. like how you donât even knock before going into katsukiâs room anymore. itâs your second home. your charger is plugged in on your side of the bed and you've got a spare set of your uniform in your own drawer.
itâs how you always end up pressed against him on the couch. you never sit down with that intention, but it always happens. at some point, you'll crawl over or he'll pull you into his lap. it just feels right.
itâs how he notices things. you texted him some dumb video at 3am, so he wordlessly shoved your favorite energy drink into your hand the next morning because he knew you'd be sleepy. your shoelace comes undone and somehow heâs crouching down to tie it before you even register he noticed. you mention craving something salty and there's a nameless bag of your favorite chips on your desk by the next period.
and the weird thing is that he doesnât do that with other people. youâve watched. heâs snappy and blunt and downright rude to anyone else who tries to get too close. but with you? he's your "soft sweet little katsuki." (said with his face in your hands as you laugh and tease him. his cheeks are red and he won't meet your eyes but he doesn't dare move.)
the realization doesnât slam into you. you don't feel the love pulsing through you as he kisses you passionately in the rain. you don't gasp and cry when he surprises you with a giant flower arc and a michelin star dinner.
it leaks in through cracks in moments. when youâre laughing so hard at something snarky and witty he said that your stomach hurts and heâs looking at you like youâve just hung the moon. when he shoves your head gently away, grumbling âdumbassâ because you called him a teasingly affectionate nickname, but you can feel how he leans right back a second later, hand coming around to rest at your waist. when he catches you dozing off during study sessions and just keeps reading aloud, voice lower, steadier, like he wants to coax you to sleep.
you donât think, oh my god, i love him. not right away.
itâs more like: oh, iâll text him first. oh, iâll stay a little longer. oh, iâll bring his favorite snacks with me when i go over. oh, i donât ever want to leave.
and then, somewhere in between his hand brushing yours absentmindedly and you feeling safer with him than youâve felt anywhere else in your entire life, you realize youâre already gone. youâre already his.
there isnât a single âmoment.â itâs all the moments, stacked and layered and wrapped around you until youâre here. on his bed, in his hoodie, atop his chest, watching him grumble and rant about how stupid kaminari was in training today, and all you can think of is,
god, iâm in love with him.
and based on the way his hand is curling tighter around your waist, sneaking under your hoodie to rub circles on your bare skin, you think he's in love with you too.

MOMMY AND DADDY!
synopsis: a villain's quirk transports you and katsuki's kid from the future to the present! except you're.. not even dating?
a request!
notes: this is a lil diff from my usual unofficialbf!katsuki bc that version ive been writing is like positive ur gonna get married meanwhile this one is like "whos ur mommy?" HO U SHOULD ALR KNOW. *pow pow* i dont usually do interesting rqs like this but i figured ill try it out
it starts with a pop.
a shimmer of light in the middle of the ua training field, a blink of time bending strangely, and suddenly thereâs a kid standing there.
small. blond. scowling.
heâs maybe four or five, fists clenched at his sides, little combat boots planted firmly like heâs ready to fight anything that so much as looks at him wrong. itâs quiet for a second.
âwho the hell are you people?! where's my mom and my dad?!â
the entire class freezes.
izuku opens his mouth, then closes it. the kid looks really familiar to him. ochako makes a small noise. katsuki, standing off to the side, scoffs like heâs already over it.
âthe fuck kinda dumb training is this..â
the kidâs head whips toward him, (e/c) eyes wide.
âdaddy?!â
katsuki chokes.
â..HAH?!â
the kid runs full-speed across the field and crashes into him. little arms wrap around katsukiâs legs like heâs safe. like he knows him. katsuki looks like heâs been struck by lightning.
the kid beams up at him. âyou look.. younger than normal. but you still look cool!â
âthe hell?!â
âbakugo!â aizawa barks. âwatch your mouth. thatâs clearly a child.â
"looks like he already knows how to swear anyways.." katsuki growls under his breath but says nothing more. he awkwardly pats the boyâs beaming head like heâs defusing a bomb.
they figure it out eventually. it was a villain's quirk. time displacement or something of the sort. temporary, but irreversible until the cooldown ends.
so now⌠thereâs just a tiny version of his future kid hanging out in the dorms.
-
âwhereâs mommy?â he says, pouting.
katsuki stiffens. â..who's 'mommy?'â
â...mommy,â the kid answers like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
katsuki groans. "what do i call her?"
the kid ponders for a second. "sweets. and sweetheart. sometimes baby or mama, too."
katsuki's entire body flushes. "i do not!"
"you do!"
"i do not!"
"you do!"
katsuki growls at the kid, cheeks and ears on fire. "her name. do i never call her by name?"
and then you walk in. rubbing sleep out of your eyes, hoodie too big, hair messy, and katsuki doesnât even notice how his gaze softens.
but the kid does.
his face lights up.
âmommy!!â
you blink. âwhat.â
before you can react, heâs launching into your arms like heâs done it a million times.
you catch him. hold him.
and⌠oh.
you melt, instantly. soft smiles, hands carding gently through his hair.
katsukiâs instantly realizes what this means.
his future kid's mom is you.. meaning his future wife is also you.
oh.
you look at him over the kidâs shoulder. âwho's this? he looks just like you!"
âheâs doesn't.â
"he does! same hair and face and everything! different eye color, though."
the kid tilts his head. âyou sleep in the same bed in the future.â
you choke on your own spit. katsuki goes red fast.
âno we donât-â
âdaddy gives her forehead kisses,â the kid adds helpfully.
you stare.
katsuki turns away, face burning.
you press a kiss to the kidâs head despite your beating heart, eyes a little soft, like your heartâs doing dangerous things.
-
over the next few days, katsuki is quiet.
he takes care of the kid without complaint. makes his lunch, lets him nap curled into his side, shields him with an arm anytime someone gets too close.
he watches the way you brush crumbs off the boyâs cheeks, how you tie his shoes, how you hold his hand like heâs something small and precious.
youâre a team already.
and katsuki wants that. more than heâs ever wanted anything.
the night before the quirkâs cooldown ends, the kid curls up in katsukiâs bed with you on one side and him on the other. heâs fast asleep.
youâre barely awake.
âyouâre good at this,â you murmur, voice quiet in the dark. âyouâd be a good dad.â
katsuki swallows.
âonly if it was with you.â
you blink.
then smile. small. shy. warm like summer mornings.
he leans in, presses a kiss to your forehead, just like the kid said he would.
and maybe the futureâs still far away, maybe nothingâs set in stone yet.
but it feels like home.
and maybe, just maybe, youâll get there together.
