Albedo - Reaction.

• When you realized what was going on, surely you couldn't help but be nervous. After all, Albedo was surely a busy man, with him not only doing his researches all the time but by his popularity as well. When he wasn't locked in his laboratory, he was often with his students, with the two of you only being able to enjoy yourselves during the night, may it be just cuddling and talking till the both of you fall into slumber or anything of that sort. So that struck a huge fear on you, not only the fear of him leaving you but also the fear of your child not having a father to be on their side. Of course, if he were to leave you, he'd help you the way he could but still, he had a very active schedule, and taking care of your child by yourself was something inevitable if he were to leave you. 

• What little did you knew, is that even if he was busy most times, he still had a really good eye on you. As his lover, it would be expected for him to be able to read you like a book, especially with the many years you two have been together. 

• At first, you tried your best to stay away from him and process your thoughts, to try and calm yourself down before telling him. But all that effort fell like a glove, given how smart this man is- he'd surely connect the dots. He tried his best to let you take your time, to hear it straight from your mouth when you were ready but it was impossible. Funny enough, he could only hide his little secret for three days.

• When he questioned you about it, you surely were impressed, and now that it had no turning back, you confirmed that his suspicions were correct. You could see how shocked he was, something very rare to see. His eyes were widened, with his cyan blue orbs staring at you in shock.

• It didn't take long before his eyes started watering and he pulled you into a hug. You were at a loss for words with his reaction, since you were the girlfriend of probably the most intelligent guy in the whole Mondstat, you could well see many possibilities of how he would react to the news he's gonna be a father, but this was surely unexpected. 

• Well, of course, he thanked you a lot for giving him the chance to be a father, and he reassured you that he'd never leave you because of this.

Albedo - Gestation

• He had to change his whole schedule for you. He organized everything in a way he could spend as much time as needed with you and informed a few people about your pregnancy. 

• If you worked at the adventurers guild, Katheryne surely wouldn't let you take commissions, and if you were a part of the Knights of Favonius, you wouldn't have to worry about any missions. 

• After Albedo explained to Jean about everything that has happened, not only was he praised multiple times, but she was more than happy to do a little extra work for a few months to secure the safety of you and your child.

• When you explained the fear of your child having an absent father, you were scared he might be offended- but no- he understood you very well. When the two of you started the changes in your house, he also decided to work on an extra room, so he could make it a smaller laboratory where he could spend more time with you and your child once they were born.

• Something expected, is that he'd give you a lot of care, although he wouldn't let you inside his laboratory in any way, afraid that something might happen with you and the baby. 

• But outside of that, during your second and third trimester, he'd finally lay his head on your belly to hear your baby. He finds it magical how he can calm down so easily while in your arms, and if you even dare to pet him while doing so, be aware that you might end up stuck there for a time as it's inevitable that he's gonna end up falling asleep. It's a good trick for when you don't want him to leave home for some meetings with his students on a grumpy day.

Albedo - During Labor

(At this part I wasn't sure what to write, I'm sorry if it looks bad!)

• He'd probably receive the news from Klee. He decided to leave you taking care of her since you figured it out it would be a great training for your next years as a mother. Although he did got the news, he was probably the last one to do so. Albedo was aware it was your 9th month of pregnancy and made Klee promise she would first ask for Barbara's and Lisa's help if you were to give birth while he was out. 

• Albedo was never a person to use curse words or even think about it. But surely he would have cursed at himself while zooming his way to your house. Albedo's unusual expression and activity made a few curious people try and guess what was happening. The rumors that you would've been giving birth at that moment spread like wildfire.

• While making his way, he thought of thousands, millions of ways things could go wrong. Of course, he didn't want these things to happen, but he couldn't help his thoughts. His mind cursed him with the thought of one of you dying. He couldn't stand losing you or his child. 

• On the place, he'd surely find not only Barbara and Lisa helping but a few midwives as well. Although he couldn't see the state you were in for long, Lisa took notice of his presence and shut the door. He tried keeping himself calm at the sudden action, but he was thankful for Lisa reassuring him on everything, and that you would be alright.

• He couldn't keep himself calm, he just couldn't, not while hearing your yells of pain. He almost let his emotions take over him

• Couldn't they see it? You were clearly crying out of pain, in a way he had never seen before, and yet, they just kept saying "You're doing a good job, sweetie" or "It's gonna be okay, not long now…"

• What did they mean by that? You were agonizing there, and all they could do was just… say that?

• With a deep breath and a lot of patience from him, he decided to wash the thoughts away and keep them logical. If they were called by both Barbara and Lisa, they surely knew what they were doing, right?

• He was in the hallway, just a few centimeters from the room you were in, staring at a cup of cold water while trying to keep himself calm with a few sips, and almost as if it was a joke, as soon as he heard the vanishing screams being taken place by a lot of loud baby cries, he was taking a sip of his water and not only almost drop the cup but ended up coughing and choking on the water as well.

• Thankfully, his choking took a few minutes, so you could look at your newborn child for a while. You insisted to be the one to wrap your baby in the most delicate way possible. Just the sight of you being so careful made a few of the midwives in the room tear up.

• Although that didn't last long, Barbara barely had the time to tell him the news and that he could already get inside before he blasts through the door and take a seat on a small chair on your side.

• The man was frozen, he couldn't help but stare at you and the baby in your hands and it took a lot of your encouragement for him to finally hold the baby for the first time. 

• He just… simply couldn't help it. It took you shorter than expected to see that river of tears flowing from his crystal-blue eyes. It was a moment full of short tears followed by even more brief cries as more and more unexpected things started to happen. 

• After a few minutes, you both could finally realize that the baby had inherited his beautiful eyes, and when you pointed that out, he cried once again.

• "Thank you… thank you (Y/N) for giving me such.. Such a lovable child"

Annuals

As companion plantings go, marigolds and petunias may seem an odd couple but they have some things in common. Marigolds are from Mexico and Guatemala and were sacred to the Aztecs. Marigolds show genetic evidence of selection for larger flowers long before the Spanish arrived. Petunias are from tropical South America and the Incas believed their scent could ward off evil spirits. And both marigolds and petunias are annuals.

By definition: annuals are plants that complete their entire lifespan in one growing season but there are other lifestyle choices. For example, the sunflower family Asteraceae (28,000 species and counting) contains annuals, biennials and perennial herbaceous plants but also shrubs, vines and trees. Apparently. at the family level, being an annual is really just another ‘career option’.
