Buck approaching Eddie’s bathroom to find him hyping himself up to do... something. Buck doesn't know what initially. Eddie didn't notice him so he leans on the doorframe to watch him, amused.

Eddie is a single dad, he can't afford to be afraid of spiders. He's not anyway. They're tiny insects and he's a grown ass man. He's been a single dad for years, he's done this countless times, many of which in this very bathroom. Why is it that everytime it happens, he's fumbling to think about how he's going to get rid of it.

Buck eventually catches up to what Eddie’s goal is. The spider. A small house spider that Buck wouldn't have bothered to bother, but Eddie seems determined.

By the time Eddie has a plan, his target has moved, but it's still visible. The last time Eddie lost a spider in his bathroom, he took one of the most stressful shower of his life; and that's saying something.

He approches his target slowly, careful to not disturb the air around it.

Eddie is walking towards the spider like a cartoon character trying to be quiet, holding a empty cardboard container Buck doesn't recognize. He looks so silly Buck can't stop himself from chuckling fondly. Which was a grave mistake apparently, because Eddie startles and turns around to glare at Buck.

"What the hell ?" The slight distortion in his voice sounds almost melodic. "Why are you standing there, watching me like a creep?" Eddie whisper-shouts for some reason.

"Are you afraid the spider is gonna hear you?" Buck whispers back.

Eddie turns his head toward the spider; or well, the spot where it used be. He starts to look around, then gestures toward Buck then the spot, and Buck again. "See what you did?" Oh, so they're back to regular volumes.

"I didn't do anything! and you didn't need to do anything either. What did that spider do to you?"

"It's a spider! I'm not gonna let it roam free in--"

"Roam free?"

"Yes, roam free--in my house."

"Well, you don't have a choice now."

Eddie groans. "I was gonna take a shower. I can't now. The shower belongs to the spider, now."

Buck's snort is startled out of him. "Come on, Eddie, you're not serious."

"No..."

Buck laughs frankly. "Oh my god, how come I didn't know you're afraid of spiders?"

"Am not." Eddie says, pushing him out and closing the door behind them.

"Stop making me laugh, I need to pee." Buck steps around Eddie to enter the spider's lair.

Eddie goes to the kitchen to check their dinner. No way he's letting an insect be responsible for a ruined meal... again.

Hopefully in a few hours he will have forgotten about his impromptu housemate, and be able to take a shower before bed.

When Buck is exiting the bathroom he's holding a box of cotton buds. Eddie follows him toward the backyard. "What are you doing?"

"I found the spider. Now, I'm freeing both of you."

"Oh. thanks, Buck." Why does he feel weirdly emotional about this.

"You're very welcome." Buck answers with a big smile before going back inside.

it's a good thing when someone is using with friends instead of using alone.
