if you, like me, are hesitant to enjoy what kinda sounds like "relaxes food standards" on the surface, I'm happy to report that this isn't "everyone can do what they want with your food supply without oversight" but rather a case where in NYC you had to have a permit to sell food and a second, superfluous permit to sell frozen desserts. This action simply removes the need for the second permit, rolling it into the first permit in order to help small businesses. Yay!

#had to go to urgent care last week at the urging of a very concerned nurse #had my follow up appointment cancelled today #still don't know how I'm going to frame wanting to get to the root cause of my pain instead of testing out a bunch of pills

I think the most important thing I learned this weekend is a lot of my insecurities are blown out of proportion in my head. I was telling my friend that I wanted to try makeup again because my acne had finally cleared up and she shockingly responded with "You had acne?"

Maybe it's because we only see each other once a month but I felt like I had noticeably bad breakouts/scarring. Maybe no one else actually notices all the bad things we see about ourselves.

Because it's hard to tell the line between things you want to say, things you can say, things you're allowed to say, and things you don't really have to say, I think yesterday it was tough for everyone to bring themselves to speak up easily! But I just wanted to say that I love all of you - and all four of us - soooo sooo sooo much! And I wanted to tell you how precious you are to me! I saw a lot of people were surprised because I cried yesterday! I'm a human too! I can't believe I'm not a robot. But I hope you won't put too many meanings into my tears! I just want to gather up all the feelings and sum it up as being moved that we've been together for 10 years! The misunderstandings and hurt feelings that happen is because we don't talk about it... I know it must feel frustrating too, but our 10th anniversary is something we should've been celebrating together (even though I already made you feel upset), and I think more than anything I really hope there won't be any more negative talk or baseless assumptions that just keep spiralling.
