special consideration for luffy and usopp. it feels like they had a conversation off screen about the real implications of being in Elbaph for them both, but Usopp specifically. Because in these few episodes i’ve noticed at least 3 instances where Luffy is pushing Usopp to be a bit more brave (ex. “Are you scared, Usopp?”, “Usopp, you could've easily taken down that cat”, and a third one Im forgetting but will go back and look for lmao). Besties pushing each other to attain their lifelong dreams.
