@timoneil asked for hamburgers tonight and hamburgers he got. Along with sweet potato chips.

Whipped something up this afternoon. Matcha green tea s'mores. Don't know how they taste, but I sure do enjoy using my blowtorch!

One of my favorite dishes to make: farro sauté topped with sous vide eggs. Once the yolks mixes with the farro, it just becomes so creamy and so delicious! I sous vide six eggs almost every night so if I get a hankering for a quick snack, I can crack one open and put it on toast with a little bit of salt and pepper.

Was so caught up with my #Ululanis that I forgot to post the best ramen from Star Noodle. Hapa Ramen. Do it. It's the only bowl of ramen that @timoneil tip the bowl to his face so he doesn't waste anything. (at Star Noodle)

#balance. 😬😂 Lemon Olive Oil Cake with strawberries baked on top. @timoneil ate 3/4 of this lol. I ended up with only a little piece but he was nice enough to save me the crumbs, which I happily gathered and ate with a smile on my face. All of the baked goods here are made in house, even the bread for the Bahn Mi. You can definitely taste the freshness! (at Hāna Ranch Provisions)

See what I mean by balance? Stumbled upon this place in Paia and it's 80% locally sourced from their own farm. @timoneil got the Bahn Mi with grilled beef and I got the Kaua'i Shrimp Noodle Salad. Obviously not the most authentic Asian flavors but it hit every key point. I killed that entire bowl and I don't feel bad at all. I could hardly finish the loco moco from earlier. I'm not afraid to gain a few pounds while I'm on vacation on a tropical island if it means I can eat delicious food the whole time. Don't beat yourself up for indulging. It's all about balance. // Loco moco with fried rice! (at Kihei Caffe)

As you guys know, we are pretty serious about food when we travel. We were in Kauai for a few days and after struggling to enjoy ourselves, we called an audible and booked tickets to Maui. No disrespect to Kauai as I'm sure it's beautiful in its own right, but I can't get with it. The food wasn't great and after having a few bites of my poke bowl from Eskimo Candy, I can't even tell you how anything tasted from Kauai. This meal has single-handedly ruined all other poke bowls for me, forever. I made @timoneil get his own bowl cuz there's no way I'm sharing after being flavor-deprived for the last three days. Hosted an early Christmas get together with @timoneil's family this evening. Made two sous vide turkey breasts, tritip, orzo, roasted zucchini, and roasted red potatoes. Then for dessert - everyone had their own personal mini chocolate fondue! Strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, and homemade pound cake to dip. Took a break from coloring to make dinner. #sousvide trip-tip that's freaking ridiculous. Holy tender meat! And that marinade. 🤓😳😁 Made garlic mashed potatoes, green beans with pancetta, and sweet corn. Dinner is good tonight!

Leftover game is strong. Made honey buttermilk biscuits this afternoon since @timoneil wanted a sandwich. Two thanksgiving feasts completed! Break today. Tomorrow starts prep work for Friendsgiving on Sunday!

Current status. Haupia pies, s'mores pumpkin pies, cheesecake stuffed pumpkin bread, and lastly, pumpkin cake truffles. Bacon gravy and spiced orange cranberry sauce are chilling in the fridge. Up next - prepping veggies for all the sides I'm making tomorrow. Oh and I'm making regular pumpkin pies cuz @timoneil has to have it every year for Thanksgiving. 😊

Order for @piamichelle's graduation party tomorrow! Mini cupcakes to feed 40+ people. It's great to be baking again! Everything went smoothly this evening and I'm trying very hard not to eat one of each lol. // pumpkin with spiced whipped frosting , chocolate with caramel and fleur de sel, vanilla with chocolate and sprinkles. 🎉🎉🎉🎊😁😬🤓

Last practice before the big day. Tried three different types of fat to cook the chicken with. Will now pick one for Thanksgiving. Garlic mashed potatoes with pancetta gravy made from scratch. Roasted baby zucchini with minced garlic. Good thing I'm starving! So freaking delicious.
