Shadamy Colony from Twitter/X is holding a Moon-themed Shadamy event with the hashtag #LunarShadamy2026. It has been a long time since I was active in Shadamy community, so I decided to participate in the event.

The moment it was announced that the theme is "Moon", I quickly decided to write a fanfic based on an English Fairy Tale titled The Buried Moon, which I found recently. I thought the fairy tale would be perfect for the occasion. Following the idea to use the fairy tale, the urge to draw a cover art for the fanfic also sprout. And so, I also drew this art for my submission together with my fanfic.

I originally only planning to do a oneshot, but the more I wrote, the longer it became, so I had to make it two chapters story instead.

Gay people didn't exist until Shadow the Hedgehog became the first man to ever love another man.
