I carved this a while back for the Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon museum. With highly stylised Anglo-Saxon imagery this large stone carving is actually the answer to a riddle, I'm yet to find out what the riddle is however.

My rendition of the Ancient Egyptian Winged Sun symbol, hand carved in Carrara marble and gilt with 24 carat gold.

This big slate carving is based on a design from the Book of Kells, all hand carved with hammer and chisels.
