Civil War
I've never been so angry hurt. I hate when friends fight over ridiculous things so I wrote out a song to vent. I remember when you came to me to cry when a boy broke your heart and never told you why And I was there and I promised I'd always be but promises entitle that you were also there for me And I guess you didn't see that You didn't seem to care cuz when you told me how to live my life that wasn't fair I decided enough was enough I had to draw a line I stood up to you with no hate in my mind but for some odd reason you switched out your knife took it out and stabbed me multiple times & it's kinda ridiculous how you added heat to a fire So tell me why there was a need to draw blood? I was forgiving until you knocked me out in the mud I try to forget the times we used to fight for the same side cuz now you fight so hard, if you lost, you'd rather die and while a rainstorm was already coming down, did I need more? the last thing I needed was this civil war You find all these ways to torture me making sure to find me, walk by me, remind me, buzzing around me like a fucking bumble bee I just have to breathe and know there's nothing to do because as much as I want this war to be over I will never give in to you (I won't give you what you want) You're not gonna take me down and I won't let you ruin my life I'm going to stop and walk away from this ridiculous strife So when you do everything in your power to make things worse I'm going to be strong, do my thing, and wait for the day you feel remorse Karma's a bitch honey, have fun with that.
