Oh, I’m sorry, was I also not locked up on set as well? Because I’d like to believe you saw me there and all since we were filming together! I’m just teasing you, but for the love of god, don’t leave it up until Christmas. That’s such a bad idea, Flo! Everyone knows you need to start decorating for Christmas now! I’m not sure who lied to you and told you we were friends….but I guess the next time we’re in the same place together, I’ll watch movies with you! And thankfully I have my phone on do not disturb right now so you can’t call me at 3 AM! I think you having witchy powers would be bad for me. Am I right? You can never go wrong with anything Tim Burton in my book!

That was you? Damn, and here I thought that I did a great job hiding from you. I mean, why not go all Nightmare Before Halloween and combine the two vibes. I don’t need any temptation to get my Christmas decor up early, it is the best time of year. I already have the music one, Mariah Carey, I am ready for you. I love like you are acting like you have a choice in the matter with this. You need to watch them with me. Where in the world are you these days? I feel like I might need to send out a search party. Pffft, you think that will stop me? Have you just met me, dear Timmy? I mean, only if you are mean to me, then we would have problems, You are right, he is the best. 

I’m a little envious of you! Because I’ve been travelling around so much that I didn’t really get to decorate for Halloween and I feel as if I’ve missed out just a little. You don’t like to watch scary films alone? I think that can be the most exciting part of watching scary films, yeah? Though it sounds as if you picked some pretty brilliant films to watch on Disney+, and they’re films I’ve not watched in years. What kind of witchy powers were you hoping to wake up with is the question I have! Because I’ve always wanted to be a little witchy myself. And since you don’t like to watch scary films alone, Flo, there’s nothing I can think of to tell you to try next! Though if you’re feeling brave, maybe you could try the Nightmare Before Elm Street movies? They’re such classics!

I was so late this year, I was back home for a night before heading to Ireland for a few days so I made sure to do it but it wasn’t as long as what I like my decor up for. I guess it just means I can get started on Christmas.I love going all out for them. No, no I don’t. I need someone there to remind me that every noise I hear is not something lurking in the shadows. I know, they still hold up so well, loving life. I would love to have telepathy because when I sit  down on the sofa and get all cosy, then realize that I’ve left my cup of tea in the kitchen? Heartbreak. So to be able to move it with my mind? Amazing. What about you? Ohhh, it is. We must have a scary movie date so you can help me through it.

miles: i can always pick you up and we can figure out a restaurant to hit up in malibu? somewhere by the beach with a great view and vibes.

flo: oooh, sounds like a story? you ok?

miles: it's been a min since we've last seen one another and i think we should reunite pretty soon.

You already know my answer but okay, Nightmare Before Christmas.  You won’t have a single bad dream and it’s really entertaining all through the holiday season.  I’m giving another YES to Rocky Horror Picture Show.  I love love love that movie.  Anyway, how are you doing?  I’ve been on tour and pretty much out of touch, but you know you’re amazing. 

Your taste in movies is 10/10, Styles. Never doubted you, consider them on the list. I’ve been good. I’ve been working, just wrapped on Dune and now onto press for another movie, all that fun stuff. Ah, it looks amazing! I still need to catch a show one of these days. 

See, this is my kind of scary movie marathon, Flo! The kind of films that are fun, don’t scare me at all, and don’t cause nightmares. Sign me up for this all the way, along with not being spooked before bed and walking around to make sure doors and windows are locked. That makes me ask, what would you do with said witchy powers? I’ve a feeling you’d use them for good mostly, but you’d be wasting the power if they didn’t involve at least a little mischief, yeah? I always recommend Nightmare Before Christmas if that wasn’t on the prior list! I swear it feels like ages since we last spoke, but how’ve you been aside from getting into the Halloween spirit? 

Exactly, you get me! Why is there not more movies like this? I can only do the spooky movies when someone is with me. Also, known as someone I can hide behind. Otherwise, I am just convinced that every sound I hear is someone coming for me. Of course I would use them for good. You know, unless someone crosses me and then it might be a different story. It’s always fun to have some mischief. Ooh, that is a good one. The music is top tier. I’ve been good, feelings like all work and no play but I love that. What about you? What is new with you? 

Please don’t hate me when I say that I have no idea what Halloween Town or Twitches are, though I’m glad that you enjoyed them and their iconicness? Though personally I think you need to sit down and have a nice scream or Halloween marathon because those are the classics. Or maybe even watch some good old Chucky or IT, you’re missing out on some good stuff here. If you really want to play it safe there’s also Rocky Horror or Practical Magic as well.

What?! Oh my gosh, you have to watch them. They are movies from the early 2000s, such a cheese fest but I ate that up when I was younger and I still love watching it. I can watch scary people if I am with other people but alone? Nope, not happening. I will force someone to watch with me though. Oh my god. I can’t believe I forgot about Rocky Horror, what a movie. Your taste is amazing. 

It’s taken you this long to put up your Halloween decor, Flo? My goodness, I had my stuff up by October 1st! I’d say you should have called me and I would have come watch scary movies with you, but I’m currently in New York and I know that’s not where you’re at! Even though you watched all those Disney+ movies, someone could be coming after you, you never know! I don’t think the world needs you to have witchy powers, so I’m glad you didn’t wake up with any! Well, since you’re too chicken to watch anything alone, you could always watch the Corpse Bride! That’s pretty tame and shouldn’t have you scared someone will come get you!

In my defence, I’ve been locked up on set and only just got home to London to put it up. Might just have to keep everything up until Christmas, you know, to make up for lost time. Wow, so rude of you to not be here to watch movies with me. I thought we were meant to be friends? Why would do this to me. You know you are going to have to pay for it when I have nightmares and call you at 3am. I would crush having witch powers. Corpse Bride is a classic, might need to do a Tim Burton marathon. 

how much decorating are we talking, flo? bedazzling the place to the nines or is it a few paper bats here and there? any movie title with the name halloween on disney plus seems like a safe way to go. have you seen hocus pocus and it’s new premiere? it’s a shame you’re not a twin either. or are you? i’m totally kidding. let me think. maybe the nightmare before christmas? the haunted mansion? those two seem to come to mind.

I mean, does it look like it could be a haunted house? Maybe. Am I ashamed? Never.  Yes, they are such a good time, I am living my best life. I have yes! I made a double feature of it and watched the two of them together, reminding myself of the first movie before taking in the new one. I know, right? What were my parents thinking? Oooh, good ones!
