I feel like I’ve found my footing, placing my roots back into advocacy and activism. Soon I’ll start therapy again. I plan to speak about all the trauma you left scattered across my skull. All the times you made me feel worthless. All the times you made promises to break them. I’m getting your toxins out of my system. Maybe I’ll learn how to live again.

I love meeting people at protests. Everyone is always so kind and there for a common goal. 

You hurt me to my core and I’ll never recover from that.

My family doesn’t understand that the things they say severely affect my mental health. The little comments build until I explode with emotion.
