{The difference is; I am not looking for pity on my own shitty situations. It’s more of a “yes, this is what’s happened. Yes, this is how I act. So what.” situation. The whole point of that vent was because I’m sick of people trying to get me to be nice and trying to get me to bend how I think and react because they’re too soft to handle truth. Life’s shit, truth hurts, move on.}

{This isn’t to say I’m not a nice person, I have many people who say I am. This is to say that when someone tries to pander for pity because they did something wrong, or said something I don’t agree with, that I won’t take it.}

{people need to learn not to take things said to them personally, and to actually talk like adults instead of pointing this stupid “he said, she said” or “my life’s worse” bullshit. If someone comes to you with an actual concern, or you’re reading a post, stop and goddamn think before you actually immediately jump to defend yourself, or start pointing fingers.}

{I can’t tell you how often I’ve had people get pissy at me because I’m too confrontational. Suck. It. Up. Yes I’m harsh, but that’s how I am. Either learn to live with it, or suck it up and move on. Don’t pull this “oh but this happened to me” or “my life is terrible” bullshit to search for pity points because you will not get any from me. I’ve dealt with so many people who have done this that I will not hesitate to drop your ass if you try it.}

{If you’re reading this and wondering “am I that person?” you’re not. People who read this stuff know when they’re being talked about. If you need to ask the question, then it’s not you. Don’t read into my words for shit that’s not there, and don’t try and say I should be kinder. I tried being kinder to people and ended up with it shoved back in my face because I took pity on someone. I will not do it again.}

{I dunno if I’m going to be sticking around once things go through, but I will be moving most of Flower’s blog to Pillowfort. It’s still up in the air whether or not I’m going to stay here. As it stands none of my posts have been flagged, so idk.}

{With all this said, perhaps this backlash is enough to get tumblr to pull its head out of it’s ass. Even with all this flagging and shit going on, I’m still getting followed by porn bots, so this flag-happy AI isn’t even working.}
