an anon asked: What is Aerith’s favourite flower? 👀 for science..

ooooo!!  this is a good question and it’s also one that’s really hard to answer because my brain is like “give her ur fav flower” and that’s not how this works.  my favorite flowers are camellias, for the record and aerith really likes them too, but her fav is probably lilies or amaryllis.  it appears to be what we see her carrying around and selling most often and aerith is def the kind of person who would grow more of what she likes.  but i think she probably also likes strelitzias, because they’re symbolic of freedom.  not exactly the kind of flower that you would sell but def one that she has an attachment to.  there’s this... visceral draw that she has to the concept of freedom.  it seems very illusive to her and she’s always desperately chasing it but it’s always just out of her grasp.  

              “   aerith,   “   tone remains   stern,   leathered hand resting in hers   gingerly.   his face,   ever so cold,   though his eyes   remain soft.   “   that is   not   what i meant.   “   a simple   sigh,   he settles back down in his seat,    looks up to her as if to give her the higher ground.   “   listen   to what i’m saying,   what i’m   really   saying.   “

              he would not make the same mistake twice.

               the sound of her name in such a straightforward tone causes her smile to falter, for just a moment, fingers curling tightly around his.  ❝ vincent, please- ❞  but he wants her to listen and so she nods, still holding his gloved hand in her own, her brow pinched together in an expression that almost resembles discomfort.  an expression that eases into something else as he speaks.  it has always been you. 

@battleshot​​ whispered: “ hey! Check it out! I got some’a the pictures developed — remember?? The ones I took outside your setup? Although… this ones my favourite (offering her the photos but pointing to one of aerith smiling… speaking then, quieter to himself..) that’s natural beauty in its finest form…. (Clearing his throat) the flowers — I mean — the flowers!”

               he has her attention the moment he comes bounding into view, the sturdy tin watering can in her hands set gently on the bumper of her truck.  she drags her hands over her apron in a lazy attempt to dry them and leans forward to listen while he talks, nodding when he asks if she remembers the photos in question.  of course she does, time spent with him tends to stand out quiet starkly in comparison to the dreary routine of her day to day.  

              ❝ hm? ❞  she turns her head towards him when he murmurs about her under his breath, their faces particularly close as she gazes up at him curiously.  natural beauty in it’s finest form.  cute, but she’s not sure she agrees with him.  seems like a prime opportunity to tease him, though, so why not move in for the kill?  ❝ sorry, i didn’t hear you, what was that?  something about natural beauty? ❞

she can be, but she’s also capable of being quiet when needed so she’s only ever really loud if she’s got the freedom to be loud (if she and her partner are somewhere private) or if her partner is into it.  that is to say: for her, it’s not an uncontrollable thing like it is with some people, it’s more of a personal preference.  she’s had a couple flings with people in the years between zack leaving and cloud turning up and has gotten herself into some... risque situations, to say the least.  situations that required her being quieter than she might’ve otherwise been.  so she def isn’t a screamer, but she’s not uncomfortable with being loud if the situation calls for it.

she’s sort of a frisky little thing.  she likes to be chased and because of that she can be quite a tease both in a literal and sexual sense.  she likes getting her partners riled up and she likes seeing their reactions, be it quiet frustration or turning the situation on it’s head and putting her bratty little ass in it’s place.  she’s also def more of a sub and she likes having control taken from her (by someone she trusts) even if it’s just for a little while.  but she’s capable of switching and can lead if the situation (or her partner’s nature) calls for it (she just can get a little extra teasing and bratty if her partner feeds into the behavior). 

this how he likes to see. to see the woman finally succumb to her desires and biggs feels proud that doing just this he is able to make the other weak for him and craving more. he then keeps both of her hands where they at with one hand and the other went to grab her hip and push her against the wall. he doesn’t need her to be grinding on him like this now. he won’t let her. seeing her beg makes him smirk. that’s cute from someone who was trying to up him a few minutes ago.

“begging already? that’s cute.” he teases. of course he is not going to kiss her right away. biggs leans on her, lips ghosting on her as he moves over her hear. “how much you want me to say that?” a chuckle slips past his lips and he then teases aerith with little kisses down her neck and then moves back towards her ear. “i love you, te amo…” he whispers against it. he then moves so he can actually go and kiss her lips just as she begged for.

biggs then pulls back after a while but doesn’t move too far, he still just a few inches close. “i love you, so much.”

               who really has the upper hand here, when they’re both getting exactly what they want?  there is a thrill in surrendering control to someone she trusts so completely, a rush of adrenaline and delight in giving herself at last to someone who has done nothing but prove time after time that he won’t leave so easily.  he pins her hips against the wall and she whines, pouting up at him as emerald eyes follow each move.  the curve of his lips, the way he dips forward to whisper in her ear.  

              ❝ enough to ask nicely, ❞  aerith responds, laughing breathlessly as words she’d long considered forbidden are whispered in her ear.  i love you.  i love you.  i-  her leg curls around his, trying to keep him close, trying to fight for some kind of upper hand despite the hold he has on her.  it seems fruitless, she’s not really in a position to fight or argue but she’s never been the kind of person to care of the odds are in her favor or not.  the unpredictability is what makes her so fun.

“and you’re the only one.” but he knows she is putting up a fight for the sake of it. aerith always been one to hate losing a battle even if means having biggs prove that he had the upper hand from start. when she came closer he grabs her hips and guides against the nearest wall, hands are quick to be pinned against it above her head.

biggs is then leaning on her, lips teasing her as he brushes against her neck. he is not kissing her, just hovering his lips against her skin until he finds her mouth and that’s when he kisses her. no words needed. he still keeps her hands pinned and not stopping even when he is done kissing her. pulling back slightly he still looks at her with such intense.

“mi corazón solo late por ti, mi amor.”

she likes it when he acts tough - when he overrides the situation and puts her in her place, so to speak.  she likes the weight of his voice just before he gives her what she wants and the way getting what she wants makes her head spin.  she struggles for only a moment when he pins her hands against the wall, a quiet sound of protest dying in her throat as she watches him, doe eyed and eager.  ❝ kiss me- ❞

he does and her hips roll against his hungerly, another feeble attempt to free her hands so that she can reach for him and drag him closer.  but he’s much too strong and she isn’t actually fighting very hard.  my heart beats only for you, and he looks like he means it.  aerith exhales, teeth sinking into her bottom lip as she looks up at him, begging without speaking.  ❝ tell me you love me.  i need to hear it.  please. ❞

he knows this is working and so will keep it coming. “what else do i have to do to prove what’s already obvious? aren’t our good moments together enough, mi corazón?”

“why do that when i have you here? you’re all i need, mi preciosa flor.”
