[What can I say? When I watched BH6 early this year Honey Lemon was not a character I actually cared for? I was more mesmerised with Tamago and Baymax... Although I can certainly see the appeal to Honey Lemon. 

[Although I adore the way you play her in this AU - I can’t remember much about Honey Lemon’s character at all, so reading through your bio for her was really interesting and you made her into a very loveable and smart woman. It made me feel almost bad for not caring about her in the first place

[So, I’m sorry Honey Lemon - I’m sorry I didn’t care for you to begin with. You’re a great character and I should have seen that.

Lysandre glanced at her from the corner of his eyes. Of course she thought what she did. Lions were hardly depicted as cowardly, and what was Lysandre if not the alpha of pride rock? 

“Perhaps.” He looked forward once more, watching as people passed by them with not a single care in the world. “But what do we call bravery in this day and age? Who gets to choose who is brave, and who is full of cowardice? Who has the right to decide such things?”

Hesitantly he pulled at his jacket sleeves. 

“Do you think you’re worthy of calling people brave?”

What Lysandre had expected when he came home was to put his laptop down on the island counter, make a cup of earl grey tea, grab a book and take a relaxing bath and begin to unwind after a stressful day of teaching good for nothing twenty-somethings.

“Well, I’m afraid that if you do one of us will have to change...” While Lysandre was known to be seen in a fashionable suit that seemed to make his hipbones stand out well, his taste in dresses was also able to create a similar illusion. He smoothed out the wrinkles of his dark dress.

“I’m actually part of a secret organisation that is set to purge the Earth of impurities and all those who have caused the world to be imperfect.” Lysandre laughed. “Of course, you wouldn’t believe that though, would you? You seem like a smart enough boy to not believe everything that anyone tells you.” 

He inspected his fingernails for dirt for a moment.

Damn those engineering students of his. There was something that Lysandre hated and it was when they would tamper with his things and make his life a living nightmare. Technically that wasn’t strictly true, there was a lot of things that Lysandre hated, this happened to be one of them.

Today’s practical joke seemed to be some kind of robotic creature that could easily fit underneath the small gaps between his lunchbox and the table. It had stood on its hind robotic legs and scurried away through the door, while Lysandre helplessly watched. Had his lunch been anything better than last night’s leftovers, he would have been more irritated at how it seemingly got up and ran away.

Lysandre merely looked on at the smaller red headed woman. She had a point of course, the past was is the past. There was very little someone could do to about the things that had already happened except from taking those experiences and preventing them from ever taking place again by learning from previous mistakes. 

He didn’t want to linger on thoughts of the past, of all the people who had proven themselves unworthy of living on the planet. Of course, Lysandre knew that no one was perfect by any means, but that didn’t mean that the world couldn’t be. He had often had thoughts that perhaps he could take those people who were ungrateful or caused terror and get rid of them. If he could get rid of all of the evil in the world then it would have been a better place.

Before he knew it, his thoughts seemed to be spiralling down into a pit that he had hoped would not happened, not while he was at work. Instead he took it upon himself to glance at the finer details of the woman before him. He took in her hair cut, the way it fell around her face, the colours that blended together, the way that it contrasted with her eye colour.

He took note of the stitching of her clothing, the material used, how is flowed around her body shape. It didn’t take much longer until he realised he had stayed oddly quiet about the whole ordeal.

“Perhaps, you may be right. It would be cowardly to run away from such things.”
